The whole city was amazing, we felt safe everywhere. Clean, easy to navigate, the mrt ( tube), was spotlessly clean and efficient and never crowded. So much to see and do, so much more than expected. A long way to travel but so worth it if you're heading to that part of the world singapore is so much more than a stopover. Be ready for the humidity but also not as bad as expected. Try and do a Singapore Sidecars trip, absolutely fantastic.

Food is okay, each cuisine is a watered-down derivation of a culinary culture of a nearby country, i still enjoyed it though. Singapore is one of the most excellent countries in the world! Safety was a key thing in this nation. I was walking around and exploring the area around midnight where i was staying, and it was totally safe, even though the "red-light" district was just down the street. The people in the nearby shops and eateries were friendly. One even showed me the shop where i was looking to get some essentials. Very pleasant people i meet in that place.AAnonymous
