Costinesti always was my favourite sea side place but just too busy and much expensive. The quality of food and services lower as well. Used to be a place where could go young people with little money but probably soon will become a place just for larger pockets. But the beach is there and the sea as well so always amazing!

Hardly a scam.
Hardly a scam.
I booked the room for my girlfriend in Romania. First she wanted to stay one night, then two nights. So I canceled the first booking and made a second booking. Accidentally with the same date. I canceled this one too and finally made a third booking with the correct dates.
I also communicated this with Vila Sibel and wrote several emails. No reply.
My credit card bill was charged for all the bookings.
My friend arrived and moved into the room. It bore no resemblance at all to the rooms pictured on the internet. She was shown into a small room, TV above the closet on the ceiling, curtains hanging down, torn, tiny bathroom.
My friend stayed one night and went home again.
This is all unacceptable and cheeky. Booking.com should consider carefully whether to continue advertising this “Vila”.

Dirty, dirty beaches that could actually be super beautiful if cleaned.
It attracts a lot of youths during the summer and they little r like it's a reflex. Truly depressing.
The beaches are not cleaned of algae ending up on the shore, therefore they have that pungent smell.
It has, in my opinion, the dirtiest beaches on the Romania shoreline, due to a combination of
- horrible littering habits by beach goers
- littering that goes unpunished by the local authorities
- a clearly ineffective albeit non existent system / infrastructure of waste collection
Save your money & sanity and go elsewhere

Costinesti is a small sea side village full of young tourists, especially teenagers. It has a lot of restaurants/terraces/fast-food/ clubs facilities. Also here it is the biggest dance & night club in open air from the East side of Europe, Mega Discoteca Tineretului. Getting around Costinesti is very easy by walking on the main walking street, but quite difficult to find a parking place, especially in the height season.

The beach is biased towards paid lounge rentals, so the free zone is quite a small 20% of the total and it gets VERY crowded. Also the beach is not well maintained and quite dirty: empty plastic bottle, empty beer and soda cans, cigarette buts, used napkins, you get the picture ...
If you like the night life there is more than plenty entertainment for all ages and tastes, but if you are an "early to bed, early to rise" type, rent a room as far as possible from the main promenade and "Tineretului" night club. The music is extremely loud and the DJs and MCs are using and abusing their microphones until early dawn (4 - 5am and is still noisy)

The beach is dirty with old and out of date facilities .
The beach is dirty with old and out of date facilities . You can’t find a shower to wash the sand before departing. Prices from my point of view are too high . No value for the money 😡.
The staff on the beach was ok considering the place. they do what they can !

The staff was very nice with us. We arrived earlier and found the room ready for us.
Clean and cosy room, close to the beach.
We were able to leave the luggages there until we left Costinesti, couple of hours after room checkout.
The apartment was very spacious, bright, decorated with new wood furniture.
The view of the sea with the Costinesti shipwreck was beautiful.
It is a very quiet location, since it is at the end of Costinesti.
The staff was very kind and helpful. They sent us the details of the accomodations after ue booked the room. The ourside shower to wash the feet before enter the hotel is a big " ".
