Beautiful Bucegi mountains views everywhere! That's why people come here! But you have to put up with bad traffic, especially weekends! Not much food choices - after 6 most fast food joins were for sweet food. The restaurants were not great - Sinaia has better choices. The grocery shops are ok, parking was fine and the place is walkable. A lot of the people did not speak English or pretended not to because we felt like they did not want to interact with us when paying or asking a question. The view, however, is amazinf and we did not tire of it.

It is a typical winter skiing town. Great for hiking! If you love hiking, you should stay a little longer. But there are not a lot of good options for food or breakfast and the local grocery store has not a lot of options.CleoBelgium
