Cozy, clean, enough space. Really tasty food at the restaurant.
Great landscape. Do not miss the fortified church.
Great landscape. Do not miss the fortified church. The village is well preserved so you can have a clou about how a typical "sas" house was looking.
Nearby there is a balneo treatment base where you can enjoy the outdoor pool

Pension Bassen is a good countryside option in a tiny traditional Siebenbürgen Saxonian bath (Bazna in Rom.)town: It consists of main house, rustic and well furnished blockhouse style wooden huts and a huge garden and meadow (full of apple trees, one swimming pool (as a plastic construction), sunbeds, 2 hammocks, lots of outside sitting facilities, good for families with children, couples etc.
Parking in the garden
We were in Bazna as part of a charity walk and decided, last minute, to stay in the village. I liked that it was simple to book immediately and that the listing showed that pets were welcome at no extra cost. We had our 2 (very well behaved and clean) dogs with us.
The location is good - not far from the town Medias but very much off the beaten track in an town known for its healing thermal springs. The rooms are clean and well equipped, there is a spa are in the hotel with healing salt water.
