Beautiful monte, well decorated in an idyllic setting away from the main road.
Due to its remote location (4 Kms away from the main road on an unpaved road) it's not easy to get food, but luckily the accommodation serves some pre-set food menu.
The breakfast is nice and enough to kickstart the day. Scrambled eggs and pancakes are made fresh upon request.

Ronnie welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour around his sustainable kingdom. A haven built into the Portuguese mountainside/jungle. This is as about as a remote a stay you can have whilst still enjoying functioning utilities. The few neighbours who build up the small community are all lovely souls, and it was a pleasure to share time, food, and drink with them. Everything. The house was absolutely charming and well equipped. The village is quaint and quiet. Our entire party slept comfortably in the beds. Cool weather was happening but there were heaters and a fireplace to keep us warm. If I didn't live so far away, I'd love to stay for weeks.
