We enjoyed our time very much. From our first moment we found a very clean, fresh and nice equipped apartment (fridge with TV which my kids loved, good internet, all needed things such as washing machine or laundry dryer) when we arrived late. It was bit cold, but our host (Celia, many thanks) managed to bring us two new heaters right away.
We felt safe in the apartment but also in the area. There are shopping (supermarkets like Continente, Lidl, Aldi etc) opportunities nearby and thanks to Uber, everything is easily accessible at a good price (supermarket EUR approx. EUR 3, Shopping Mall Almata Forum max EUR 5 and Lisboa EUR 10.

Booked last minute on our travels. Loved it . Staff very helpful
My only complaint would be that the hotel didn’t sell alcoholic beverages but it wasn’t a problem. A small bar 2 minutes away ( lovely) and Lidl next door

We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our pied-a-terre due to its proximity and connectedness. We did buy a Lisboa pass which we understood would connect us from the Fertagus station on the Almada side to our place but it did not although the busses are run by the same company. That was the only unfortunate surprise we had. We explored Almada, Sintra and Lisboa during our three day stay and had a great time! This place comes highly
recommended.

I could not find fault with anything.
I could not find fault with anything. Staff were friendly and very kind. Food was freshly prepared and good variation also very tasty. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and all communal rooms the same high standard. Bathroom was spotless. In general we would recommend to anyone and will be staying there again next visit.

The area around the hotel (Mercure Almada) is mostly residential with the court house down the block. It was very safe to walk around and there are plenty of places to eat along with quite a few stores/businesses. The metro is very easy to use and the bus stops in front of hotel. I was able to explore the area and go to Lisbon with ease.

I think it is worth visiting Almada, I di not have enough time to see all I wanted. 1 days stay. It is of course quite different to North side Lisbon. You really have to be prepared to walk up hill and down dale.

Almada is a very nice place to stay.
Almada is a very nice place to stay. It is easy to get around Almada centre and the tourist places. To get to Lisbon is quite easy too. The ferry is so convenient, cheap and not far away from where I am staying.
I really enjoyed Almada.

We liked everything. We are a family of 5 and we really enjoyed staying in Almada Villa.
Everything was perfect! Spacious room, fully equiped kitchen, wonderful terrace, strong wi-fi, welcoming, cheerful host who gives excellent advices and helps to change a battery if needed :) and a wonderful cleaning lady. Strong management, customer focused 😍
Great place in a more authentic area. Super easy to go back to Cais de Sodre by ferry. Very comfortable appartment, well equipped, quiet at night. The area has lots of good restaurants, shops etc. Can walk to Almada center, take a bus to Costa da Caparica beach, walk along river, Cristo Rei.
Excellent location, close to Almada Forum, 10 minutes by car to Costa Caparica. Communication with the owner very fast and kind responses.
Kitchen well equipped, plenty space for all. Washing machines also. I recommend for a vacation in Almada.
Nice location with many restaurants and bars in Cacilhas around the corner, but also in Almada within walking distance.
With the ferry (5 min walk) it takes just 8 min to Lisboa.
