Beautiful location in Aljezur with ocean views! We enjoyed the peacocks, horses, chickens & friendly dogs on the property. The setting was ideal & we didn’t, want to leave. Our beautifully designed room was amazing with everything we needed & a delicious breakfast was delivered to the room daily. Our host was so interesting to talk with & learning about his career background as a surfboard designer.
Mayla Surf House is an amazing villa with stunning views, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of surfing. We offer breakfasts, surf classes, and equipment rentals every day.

It was a lovely surpise to get in to this little community of surfers, loved the vibe and concept. The pizza night was another wonderful surprise!

Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature, surfing, good food, a slower pace of life. I would recommend staying in Aljezur, getting a car to drive around to different beaches and villages where you can find good restaurants. In the evening, in Aljezur, always book ahead a table.

A magical small village with tiny streets and houses, nice restaurants The river is full of life, edpecially dozens of turtles sun bathing. the beaches are close and the castle above the city gives a nice overview although it is just a ruin.
nice massage at “em boas maos“ at the other side of the river in the new part of town.
there is also a nice walkway east of the castle directly below with benches to rest and look over the whole village and countryside.

We hope to return.
We hope to return. The presence of an active cultural life was important for us. We felt like we were in a town and region alive and not just a tourist setting.
By the way, asking these questions in English also, would be helpful.

What I liked is that it is truly a get away from the busier touristy parts of Portugal. What I didn't like is that google maps has its location for a national park located in the middle of a farm that has sand on the surrounding roads that are easy to get stuck in.

If you want to explore the west coast of Portugal Aljezur is a good choice for a stop over. We travelled from the south and beaches we visited on our way were spectacular. Going North this morning it was equally as good.

I'm from Portugal and this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in Portugal! The hotel is absolutely stunning - the decoration and ambience are amazing. The facilities were perfect- room was spacious, pool area is well kept and has towels/water, the spa had a great vibe. We had some of the most delicious food ever- for dinner I would highly recommend eating the 'Carabineiro Rice'!
A fairly modern hostel-type facility with a sister boutique hotel next door. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful, although the staff can get a bit swamped at peak hours. There is a also a bar downstairs with reasonable prices. The 'deluxe' rooms have amazing views of the sea.
Soul Farm is a great place to stay near Arrifana. The bigger house was well equipped and comfortable, and the surrounding area was beautiful and quiet. Salvatore and his team were great hosts and very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!
Excellent value for money hotel in Aljezur. Wonderful staff, very comfortable, great location for walking to nearby restaurants, and for exploring the Rota Vicentina. We really enjoyed our stay.
