Marina 4Rooms, hotel in San Vicente

Located in San Vicente, a 13-minute walk from Pinagmangalokan Beach, Marina 4Rooms provides accommodations with a terrace, free private parking and a bar.

The folks managing the property are kind and generous. We stayed with them over Christmas and even though we were on our way out the door they sent us off with a delicious home cooked meal and that made our travel day! The place itself has a gorgeous rooftop where they serve breakfast and other meals. We enjoyed our mornings & sunsets there overlooking the marina. It is a 15 minute walk to Long Beach where one can walk for miles and miles along a largely undeveloped Beach. The rooms are very small, but it suited my partner and I just fine for a few nights. The shower is hot and the bathroom doesn't smell, a luxury in the Philippines. The view from our room was nice and the overall nautical design elements are cute. We appreciated having a little couch next to our bed, it somehow made the whole space seem bigger even though it's quite a small room. Everything seemed clean overall and bed was comfortable. The town was alive for the holidays but doesn't go late and otherwise it is a pretty relaxed small town surrounded by beautiful beaches and nature to enjoy. The staff are also helpful in giving suggestions on what to check out during your stay. Thanks to the crew there for the good vibes during our trip in San Vicente.

Long beach is absolutely beutiful and breathtaking- 15km long and absolutely no people around. San Vicente is very small and doesn‘t have a lot going on yet. Though it‘s a perfect starting point for private/shared boat tours! There‘s a rooftop bar/restaurant/accomodation: Marina4rooms. We had the best time there and the hosts are absolutely welcoming, friendly and so caring. They made us feel as if we‘re at home!

Port barton is a laid back place with unpaved roads.

Port barton is a laid back place with unpaved roads. Not much choice to eat or a place for night parties. Island hopping is soso as compared to el nido. I visited this place during lean/rainy season. I don’t know if the place gets better during peak/summer season. One day stay for island hopping is enough to stay here then explore other places like Dumaran or El Nido. What I liked most during island hopping was the giant corals snorkling area. Other than that, other places are not that special.

Fabulous long beach. Beautiful scenery. Friendly locals.

Fabulous long beach. Beautiful scenery. Friendly locals. A very unspoilt and undeveloped part of Palawan. As a westerner we only found a small number of restaurants with limited menus. No place for Lattes or Cappuccino etc. Accommodation is quite basic. However if you don't mind the basic facilities and prefer somewhere a bit low key then this area is wonderful.

If you want several km of perfect white sandy beach mostly to yourself and want to relax and play in the ocean and surf, this is the place for you! I MUCH prefer Saint Vincente for relaxation over El Nido, which is much too touristy for my tastes. However, El Nido has many more restaurants and accommodation choices. And stray dogs. And flies. And foreigners.

The Long Beach is very good for swimming (but be aware of some big waves at times and Sandflies). There are some good restaurants in Poblacion (San Vicente Town Center) and some Resorts. Try also their island Hopping Tours form the Pier in San Vicente port. There are very nice spots for Snorkeling and Swimming. I also liked the Sceneries and pure Nature.

It unspoiled by Tourism so far.

It unspoiled by Tourism so far. White sand beaches, cute little town and still a good selection of food. They have E-Trikes to transport you around, and a local dock for tourism and island hopping without having to go to Port Barton or El Nido! , and even rent a motorbike if you want to travel around yourself!
