Hari and his family are amazing. The best homestay I’ve ever been to in several years of travelling. Hari goes out of his way to make your time in Meghauli special. He took us for sunset in multiple different spots, brought us to a local spot to try Sukuti, and even made us a Christmas Day bbq instead of the usual Dhal Bhat. His home is so relaxing, I could have spent several more days hanging out in the hammock and eating popcorn by the fire. I can’t wait to see this place continue its success!
Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness center, Barahi Jungle Lodge is located in Meghauli. Free Wi-Fi access is available in this resort.

This property is beautiful and the surroundings near nature at its finest along the river. Excellent service from all staff, especially Tej, Alina, Krishna, and Nitraman. Beautiful pool and cultural programs during 2 of my 3 nights. Had 2 great massages at spa from Suzada.
Located in Chitwan, 25 miles from Tharu Cultural Museum, Chital lodge provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 1-star hotel offers a bar.

Bishnu, Saoru and their family are lovely. Bishnu is a fabulous guide. Having grown up in Chitwan he knows the best places to see an amazing range of animals and birds. We were particularly lucky watching 3 tigers, a mum and 2 almost grown up cubs about 100m away, for about 1/2 hr before dark. He also found 3 different deer species, 1 of which was very rare. We saw numerous rhinos, one wallowing in a mud hole with frogs all over her back. Baby rhinos are also very cute!
We loved the jungle walk although it was so unseasonably hot it wasn't sensible to do a full day. The river paddle was also fun, particularly seeing elephants with enormous grass stacks on their backs. Overall given our our 2 night in Chitwan we could not have seen much more.
We had a great time with the kids, so friendly and chatty, even had some of us up dancing to traditional music.
Saoru is a fabulous cook, her food is simple and superb, and was some of the best we had in Nepal, even when compared to quite expensive restaurants in Kathmandu. Her salads and chutneys were wonderful. I understand Nepalese choose their wives by how good their chutneys are, Bishnu is the winner...and he even convinced Saoru to have him!
Best place to stay !!! Paradise... Breathtaking location.

The staff is incredible. They make you feel at home and go all the way to give you an unforgettable stay at their hotel.
I would definitely advise this to friends and I will go back as soon as I have a chance...
The location is magnificent. The food is delicious. The spacious rooms are beautifully decorated.
If you want to look for a peaceful and relaxing stay, this is the right place. If you want to do a tour (by jeep, by elephant or by boot) in the surrounding nature reserve, you will have an amazing experience.
