The balcony rooms have a great view of all of the above. It’s a good base for exploring the area by rental car and has much more character than the more modern hotels in the area. Plenty of free parking. about 2hrs drive to Bergen airport without having to drive through Bergen itself, so good for one or two nights either arriving or leaving from Bergen. Has atmosphere with old section of hotel being wood panelled. Nice lounge with fjord view. Lovely dining room. Staff friendly.
