Nicolas was so very helpful, he wanted us to get the most out of our trip. The lodges are in the middle of the Mombacho reserve and it feels amazingly wild. We wanted to emerge ourselves in the rainforest experience and we certainly got that. The lodges are basic situated near a 30 meter viewing platform which was incredible. All sorts of creatures, beautiful butterflies and howler monkeys.

The dorm and the place is so very well organised, with small individual lockers built within each bed, a little bookshelf, plug and light next to each pillow and very comfortable beds. It is nice to have access to all the kayaks and hammocks in the property with beautiful and quiet views on the laguna (especially after and before the day trippers). Breakfast was yummy and free coffee all day was a plus.
