The reception and shuttle personnel were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and obviously new and pretty, the shower head was not great and the water temperature fluctuated from boiling to cold, but all in all it was very comfortable, we slept like babies.

Community is gated. The security guard is very diligent, so I felt safe as a female alone. The apartment was clean for the most part. The area around the stove was very greasy. The light in the kitchen didn't work. The spiral staircase is open, has no rails and is not safe for children. On the second floor, the staircase is just a hole so you have to be very sure footed. The photos don't show that part. There was a good bit of construction noise. There was a microwave on a little table, but no plug nearby to plug it in. There was an old extension cord laying on top of it, but it was only two prong, and the microwave was 3 prong. Had to move the microwave over and put it on the stove for the plug to reach. It was probably good by Mexican standards, but lacking by American standards. It was adequate for one night, and I've certainly had way worse in Mexico. It's just a different standard.
