The fact that it was conveniently located very close to the main drag in town and that it included the taxi ride from and to the airport at no extra cost made it a good deal after all.
The room I had was facing the inner courtyard which made it nice and quiet, which I appreciated.

All was 10/10 from the check in (easy and clear communication with the staff from the very beginning), the staff is really nice and kind. The apartment we booked had a terrace that was just perfect, we also sunbathed and it was super relaxing, not to mention the great views you get over the port, especially at sunrise).
Breakfast was also good!
Definitely recommended!

Still small enough to feel like a fishing port and not just a tourist resort, Marsaxlokk has however plenty of choice of places to eat. There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby, and the compact size of Malta means that although it's located at the south-east corner, it is a convenient base for exploring the whole island.

The town is a great place to stay.
The town is a great place to stay. Very friendly and the harbour is fantastic.
Busses are good and the rest of the island is easlily reached.
There is far too much shooting of migratory birds. This has led to large areas if the cost being marked off as private and inaccessable. The footpaths are generally fairly poor. Walking is not a traditional pastime in Malta and it shows. The coast is amazing and the cliffs very high in places. The sea is very clear and clean.

A great place to stay. Its quiet, just as we like it.
A great place to stay. Its quiet, just as we like it. If you are looking for shops such as boutiques then this isn't the place to look.
There is however a daily market and one very busy one on Sundays.
It's so picturesque and relaxing to just sit at the boats travelling in and out.

Lovely and quiet, lots of character. Plenty of fish restaurants. One hour boat trip for 10 euro. Half hour to Valetta by bus. Daily market is a bit naff.
Impressive local church. No beach. Nice place, we liked it.

Beautiful, quaint, authentic fishing town. Great restaurants and fun Sunday fish market. You have to stay here to really appreciate it and have a car for exploring the area sights. Only 15 minutes to Valletta.

Bustling in the day with a market on the promenade (...
Bustling in the day with a market on the promenade (especially on Sundays), but peaceful in the evening. Plenty of places to eat with fish being a speciality. Easy to get buses to Valetta (took around 45 minutes) and from there connect to other places of interest.

Great hotel, in a great location. Dyna was so helpful with our stay and recommendations on where to eat and places to go. The room was big and so clean with a little sink, plates cutlery and a fridge so it was ideal if you wanted to have some food in the room.
I'd say the best part of this guesthouse is the friendly owner Michael :) he really took care of us and made sure we are happy. The location is amazing as well - right next to the picturesque Marsaxlokk marina. Strong recommendation all around.
Very good service, changing towels and cleaning the bath everyday. The staff is very helpful. Good breakfasts. The best restaurants in Malta are on the Marsaxlokk’s promenade.
We liked the beautiful villa, its peaceful surrounding between Marsaxlokk and St Peter's Pool, lovely seafront in Matsaxlokk and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!
