The staff were fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Amazing meals. The location is hard to get to and you should call them before so they pick you up from the village. But the view is 100% worth it:)

Super sweet and friendly people. Two girls and a woman in the kitchen and one guy who was helping me with some things I needed. They are truly lovely. Breakfast and dinner included in the price is a great deal, and the meals are delicious. From the balcony of my room I can see the snowy mountains. There is hot water at the shower.

We loved that the riad was on the other side of the valley to Imlil and the views from the terrace of the mountains was stunning. We had a beautiful family room and the facilities were perfect for our needs
A lovely little town in the mountains! Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you want to go to the Toubkal national park ensure you have a guide or the police will turn you around, even if you are not planning the full route. They told us to be anywhere on the park you need a guide.

Wonderful place with wonderful nice people!!
Wonderful place with wonderful nice people!!
The only thing that bothered me is that people can leave a lot of garbage around the waterfall. I don't see anyone picking up garbage. Throwing it in the water on the ground everywhere.
They could take better care of the natural beauty, since tourists go there to see it.

Imlil is like a mini Moroccan Chamonix, full of mountain guides and gear shops. But the mountains are not like the Alps, I was really shocked how much rubbish was around the town, even on the side of the trails.

This is a review for Imlil itself.
This is a review for Imlil itself. The Riad I stayed at was in a small village about 12km outside Imlil called Tamguiste which is nearer to Tachdirrt. Take care to expand the map to look at exactly where your accommodation is. I wanted peace and simplicity so chose somewhere more remote.
Imlil itself is a village which has been taken over by tourism so many more facilities and activities like mountain biking, paragliding, guided hikes etc are on offer. There are plenty of restaurants and shops mostly selling souvenirs. It is in a valley with steep sides and several of the properties are high up on either side though many of them can arrange transport for luggage and sometimes guests via donkey or mule.

Best way for me to describe Imlil is the Chamonix of the Atlas mountains, you get a few tourists during the day, the little supermarkets are great but you won't get any beer or wine here. It's the idea base for walking in either direction into the mountains. My pics are actually of the mountains, not Imlil, hope this helps.

What , I like the most is the location of this place the Valley is surrounded by tiny villages located it on the cliffs of the mountains therefore we pick Arghare Village , the views where spectacular! Also the decor in the place amazing 🤩!! We had a small vehicle 🚗, my husband drove up it was a bit challenging , just take your time is part of the journey:) Said came right away and meet us. To make it easier. The next day I walk to the main village Imlil , cascades , like 25 minutes walk , everyone is nice 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Atlas Dar chamonix. The family received us with great hospitality and warm-heartedness. The house is im Aroumd which is higher than Imlil that means it's perfect to start several hiking tours to the beautiful mountains. At Atlas Dar chamonix you find also a guide for the tours. When you travel with kids we can also highly recomend the place.
We also had dinner there which was the best food we had on our journey through marocco.
Thank you very much for the good time at your house!
The owner and his family are amazing. They were so nice and kind to us.
They give you a warm welcome. You don't have the feeling of being in a hotel but in the home of a relative.
Great breakfast where you don't miss anything.
You could order lunch or dinner. Omar's family could prepare for you typical dishes.
The rooms and beds are really clean and comfortable. Also, the bathrooms are clean.
I truly recommend this place if you want to be hosted by a nice family in Imlil.
The view from terrace is lovely
The accomodation is in small village Aroumd much nicer and more quiet than Imlil. Trekking to Toubkal starts / end here.
Owner Said is great guide and we trekk with him 3 days in Atlas mountain studying night before and night after in here unwinding. Would recommend as guide as well as accommodation.
Stunning views of the mountains. Quiet and peaceful. Nice comfy bed. They can arrange taxi to/from Marrakech. Aremd is a good walk from Imlil (and very steep) it is a really small village and doesn't really have any amenities but it is beautiful.
What a fab team that run Les Jardins. Situated high in the valley, it is quieter than some of the hotels in the centre of Imlil. You have fabulous views of the mountains from the terrace.
Food was great, especially breakfast.
