Seham, the woman running the property, was amazing! She had a full house but still was incredibly helpful and kind as well as a great cook for all our meals! The property is also great with nice, warm and clean rooms and several terraces with great views. We wish we would have stayed longer!

Ibrahim and his assistant couldn't have been more helpful. No request was too small or difficult. Outstanding staff. The location is wonderful too. Very strongly recommend this place. Not luxury but if you want luxury in the mountains you will struggle.

Dinner was delicious with a very tasty soup followed by an excellent chicken tajine and then fruit. Abdullah was extremely hospitable and could not have been more helpful. The breakfast with hot porridge, fruit, toast, eggs, fresh orange juice. The bedrooms with bathrooms were simple but very clean, the linen and beds were very comfortable. Great hot water in the showers.

Of the 10 kasbahs we stayed in, La Kasbah du M'Goun ranks near the top. The remote valley it is located in takes effort to reach but mountain views and authenticity make it well worthwhile. Decent meals, good amenities. The narrow valley has 24 villages. Aguerd N'Ouzrou is typical for its friendly and prosperous inhabitants, rich stream fed agriculture and apple orchards. We hired a young lad to guide us; a student, he spoke reasonably good English. His mother hosted tea in their wonderful salon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend this kasbah.

The lodge was built as a family home 5 years ago and they started renting out a couple of years ago. So it has a very homey feel. Owner Youssef speaks perfect English and Aziz and Layla were exceptionally attentive. The property has spectacular views and the only wifi in town (though it was a bit weak / spotty).
The room was clean, bright, and spacious - the place is very new. Food was plentiful and good. There was no set mealtime - you just let them know when you want to eat.
Unfortunately, I got sick and mostly slept for 4 days. But the view from the terrace is gorgeous and I'm sure there would be good hiking in the area.

I felt at home and relaxed from the moment I walked in. Anne & Ali's hospitality was some of the best I've received in Morocco. The meals are fresh with lots of variety and local ingredients. Anne prepared a picnic lunch for me every day to take with me on my bicycle- which was great since it is Ramadan and food isn't easy to find during the day.
The room was private, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated having a heater to warm the room before I went to sleep. Bathroom and shower are great. Washer was available to clean my clothes. The property is peaceful and well situated to explore Ait Bouguemez Valley. I recommend staying here!
