I paid slightly north of 120 usd for a night and loved it. Loved the pool. Loved the fact that they faced the Indian Ocean (no they don’t own the beach but u can access the beach front from the hotel and for that matter no one is on the beach anyways). Very welcoming staff reminding u off your meals for the next days .

On the way from Colombo to Nilaveli and Trincomalee You are passing jungle and national parks, having wild elephants on the road, an exciting experience also, even though it is a car ride by around 5 hours.
