The Japanese-style room I stayed in was very large and comfortable. At first, the website mentioned a shared bathroom, which made me mistakenly think there was no private bathroom. In fact, there was a super large private bathroom in room, plus an shared bathhouse. After returning to the hotel, I could comfortably soak in the hot spring.
The hotel's location is great, very close to the bus stop, making it very convenient for hiking in the Oirase Stream area.
The hotel staff and service were excellent. I hope to stay here again on my next trip.

Staff st reception didnt speak english which i dont expect them to, but did have a translator so was easily able to communicate. Location is gotgeous but there is not a lot by way of shops once you get there. Onsen was lovely with an i side and an outside bath and a little sauna.
