Miyazu which includes Amanohashidate, is one of three natural sites in Japan. The land bridge spans across the sea is fun to view from the observation points (on both sides) and you can actually bike (20 minutes) or walk (50 minutes) one way across. A small town with lots of charm and beauty.

Lots of tourists on holidays but pretty peaceful on normal days. The beach was great but I think they limit the days you can swim. Nice stroll along the sandbar. Amanohashidate is the main thing, there's nothing much to do in Ine aside from taking the boat tour. It's probably best to take the tour that starts from Amanohashidate and goes straight to Ine if you want to save time.

Room was huge, with both Japanese and western area and the hot spring bath inside the room is excellent for my travel partner who is not comfortable using the public hot spring facilities. The two meals included were decadent, with lots of courses. Staff was friendly, attentive and the Japanese staff can communicate adequately in English. They do have a few foreign workers in the staff which speaks better English also. Location of hotel is just a 4 minutes walk from Amanohashidate Station.AmyCanada

We were able to use the swimming pool outside, which was very cool. Everybody was super friendly. There were super big rooms available for us and with our car we were able to drive around to find restaurants shops beaches, rice terraces, old fisherman villages.. Excellent stay indeed

Bed was comfortable. Toilet in the Double room. Staff allow us to store luggages there before chk-in and after chk-out.
