Very nice and attentive staff, particularly the one at the breakfast room.
The breakfast itself was very nice and enjoyable for a 3 stars hotel. The room very clean, with a desk in case someone needs to work and also more plugs than I've seen in other hotels, even though some were a bit hidden and hard to find at first.
The location of the hotel is one of the best, as it's at only 4 minutes away from the bus terminal taking you anywhere else, including the train station, reachable in 5 minutes by bus if you don't feel like walking 15 to 20 minutes.

Imagine a holiday back in time, to those cheerful and self-indulgent Belle Époque years. Viareggio is one of those Riviera-style resorts where you can still feel that spirit in the air. Situated in the heart of northern Tuscany’s ‘Versilia Coast’, it is composed of Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings, tranquil sandy beaches, and stylish shops and restaurants.
Located 80 km from the beautiful ‘5 Terre’ and 100 km from Florence, Viareggio’s first two beach resorts were opened already in the 1820’s. Its famous carnival begun in 1873, and since the 1920’s a huge parade along the seafront promenade is encompassed by concerts, theatre plays and masked balls. If you’re planning to visit this area of Italy during carnival, check the availability for hotels in Viareggio in advance.
Being a beach resort, summer is king here, and the spirit of the 20’s gets back to life showing the new trends in style. The historic hotels of Viareggio revive, and the promenade goes one more time through its seasonal ritual.

Viareggio was amazing.
Viareggio was amazing. Don't be put off if you are travelling by train, when you get to the seafront you will be glad you came! Ristorante Kalika was fab. Food and staff exceptional. Bar Eden is well worth a visit. Friendly welcoming staff and drinks are reasonable. Beware the Limoncello Spritz, it's strong!

Loved the resort. Safe, clean and well kept.
Loved the resort. Safe, clean and well kept. Not ridiculously expensive but felt upmarket. Beach vast and clean with great beach clubs, water shallow. Pay for sun beds but food was reasonably priced.
Great shopping, not the usual tat you get in beach resorts

The hotel is very nice looking, the staff is friendly. The breakfast was great with plenty! of choices, probably one of the richest options I saw in 4-star hotels.
Parking on the street next to the hotel was convenient. The beach is across the street and there are many food options around the hotel. We had an apartmant, which was very comfy, clean, and had enough space.
This family-run hotel is a small cozy one situated in a quiet part of the town not far from the promenade and the beach line. The breakfast was tasty with excellent cappuсcino and a wide choice of cakes and bakery. The hotel stuff was friendly and attentive. Our special thanks to Mr. Andrea who kindly helped us to get our luggage lost in the airport back.
Alessia was a fantastic host, meeting us on arrival and giving us a lot of information about the apartment and the area. The apartment was in a great location - easy walking distance to the station and Viareggio sea front. The two bedroom apartment was well equipped and spacious.
The hotel is highly recommended! Nice clean rooms, good location near the beach and a totally nice friendly staff. Thanks for the great time in Viareggio!
