We liked our room on the 4th floor. It was small, but this is to be expected in 3 star hotels in Venice. It was clean and the housekeepers did an excellent job of keeping it up everyday. From the top floor of the hotel we were above the street noise, for the most part. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom reasonably equipped. Breakfast was adequate, fresh croissants every morning! The location of this hotel is excellent, just off piazza San Marco. The hotel hastypically Venitian decor.

OK firstly if you want total luxury then don't stay here. However for what you pay for in Venice I would recommend this hotel. We were on a budget and this met our needs. Breakfast was good, room was fine, beds were comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the location. It was 20 mins to Piazza di Marco, 15 mins from the Realto bridge. As always, I ask myself would I stay here again. The answer would be YES. Although I would love to stay at the sister hotel right across the street where we had breakfast but this is on another budget.

The history and concept of Venice is cool, however it is really really crowded, even in non-peak times. Plus everything you hear about the scammers and pick pockets is very real. I felt like I had to constantly be looking around and questioning all the things going on around us.

We arrived after sunset therefore we felt as if we saw the city twice. It is hard to describe Venice. I think you have to experience it. And please take a gondala. You saw a different city.
We walked a lot but also used the local transport. It made for an amazing experience

Loved Venice, great place to get lost in the lanes.
Loved Venice, great place to get lost in the lanes. So many shops to browse and buy from. Food delicious and a lot of choice. Water bus was great but do buy a pass for the duration of your stay - cheapest way to do this. We bought the wrong ticket to take us back to the airport - check online and purchase before you go. This will explain exactly where to go to get their bus from - there are a few different operators.
We did the Venice marathon (half for us). Great city to run in and would recommend this run if that is your thing. Lots of bridges at the end!

Loved staying on the quieter side with more locals towards S zaccharia stop. Getting lost on the back alleyways, crossing all the beautiful bridges, seeing all the amazing mask making shops, and seeing the most interesting art venues during biennale was amazing. We had the most amazing food on this side of town and the best of all our time and places in Italy. More than Florence, Rome, Naples, and Ravello.loved Hostaria da Franz, Luna Sentada and the octopus at osteria San Isepo. San Marco basilica was also nice to see.

Lots to see and do, use the water bus, its the best way to get around! We went up and down the grand canal and around the island and also to Murano and there is aso Burano. Murano was very quiet on the sunday, restaurants closed at 4pm which was a shock!
Be warned there are not a lot of places to sit and rest, and coffee on San Marco Square is around 16 euro per cup! Needless to say we didn't think that was worth it but others clearly did.
Food consists of sandwhiches which are usually around 6 euro and ice cream can vary from 2euro to 4.5euro but you can shop around.

First of all.. I was amazed to see I booked a hotel which is itself only on an island.. then came to know this is university cum hotel. The ambience was obviously different from other resorts but I liked it best. Cherry on top is beautiful CAFE.
Room was bigger than expected. Garden is much bigger than expected.
Hosts are amazing.. I stayed in 3 cities of Italy and found the hosts are amazing all over there. Its italy culture I think.
You can keep your luggage after checkout without worrying about.
A fantastic beautiful hotel. Centrally located. Exceptionally clean and excellent speedy customer interaction. Prices in April very reasonable for such fabulous location and luxury. Breakfast the best ever had in Italy. Comfy huge beds, marble bathrooms and historic Italian decor. Take the water taxi from the airport right to the hotel. Amazing. Definitely recommend and would return
Casa Pusterla was the best choice of our visit in Venice. the apartment is spacious and fully equipped with everything one may need. it is located a few steps from the Bianalle in the loveliest quiet neighbourhood. The hosts Flavia and Marco waited for us at the vaporeto station and provided all the necessary information. better than any 5 stars hotel (as far as we are concerned)
Excellent , this interior completely immersed in the atmosphere of Italy . The furniture, the walls, the windows, it is the perfect place for the atmosphere of Venice . I am in awe of the people who work there and grateful for such hospitality.
The balcony overlooking the bridge, I will never forget. It's the best I could have chosen
con tutta l'anima. Bravo Rozala 🫶
I would stay I had best time of my life in Venice mainly because of this hotel. I stayed 5 nights and I was upgraded to Junior suit. The suit was spacious, tastefully decorated and was astonishingly cleaned 2 to 3 times a day without us knowing. The breakfast spread was big with vegan choices and delicious. Location is fabulous bang on Grand canal.
