Staff were always excellent, even very excellent. We've stayed at Petit often over the years. The decor changes, but the hotel and its staff are always great.

Milazzo is an underrated city. It offers the benefits of crystal clear beaches to swim at as well as fantasic authentic Sicilian cuisine. We much preferred the beaches in Milazzo than in Taormina where they are hard to access, mostly tourist traps and packed with overpriced beach clubs. Milazzo has some great historic value with plenty to see including its own castle, one of the most beautiful churches up on a mountain cliff (Tindari) and some great local, authentic Sicilian cuisine that isn't overpriced or a copy/paste tourist trap like some of the other more commercialized cities. I have been there twice in the last 15 years and every time I've been I've always regretted not staying there longer. Next time we travel to Italy we will be basing ourselves here and exploring more of Sicily and southern Italy.

Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful.
We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar!
We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close.
And there was a wonderful 🐢 who loved to be massaged by the proprietor.., and a handsome Husky dog! All Bueno!

The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

A pleasant hotel for a one night stay before travelling to the Aeolian Islands and for one night on the way back. Staff were friendly and helpful and arranged transfers (quite expensive but all went smoothly) for us from and to both the port and the airport. If you have luggage this hotel is quite a way to walk from the port, but it's fine to walk into the town or to the castle once you have got your room. Breakfast and the dinner we had in the restaurant were both good. There is a nice pool area.
Perfect stay at Aeolian Sea Port B&B. We had an amazing room, large and newly decorated, impeccably clean. Staff and owners were incredibly kind and went beyond expectations, flexible with our confusing departure and arrival arrangements, and helpful with any details. Thank you for this great experience in Milazzo. We will return!
An excellent hotel near the harbour, where we were coming back with a ferry from the island of Lipari. When we travelled forward, the staff ordered a taxi for us, that came timely. All the surroundings was good. Next to the hotel were several restaurants and bars. The restaurant we went to had world class Sicilian food. Thanks.
Spacious apartment. Good and quick communication. The parking spot is in a secure patio just outside the apartment. Very convenient. We felt very safe. It was a good location to explore the sea side as well as the Aeolian Islands. Very easy to walk to the harbour from the apartment. Would definately recommend staying there.
