Stayed here for two nights. It is a very cute hotel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice. Location was great its super close to the port, just a couple minutes walk. Its also very close to stores and restaurants in Lipari. Would recommend!

Amazing property. The room was lovely, as was the pool, which came in handy in the middle of summer, but it was the staff that left an impression on us. They could not have been any better. Always quick to help and they were fantastic with our 3 year old daughter, including always remembering her name, which made her feel very special.
We will only stay at Hotel Tritone from now on when travelling to Lipari
Set on Lipari Island, just 300 metres from the tourist harbour, Hotel Oriente offers family-run accommodation in a peaceful location, near the Archaeological Park.

I liked everything, it was comfortable, quirky things all around the hotel. Close to everything, five minutes from the port and busses. Just perfect in every way, staff, breakfast, location, can’t recommend it high enough.

The service from the staff was excellent throughout our stay, when we were due to arrive in Lipari they contacted us to arrange taxi shuttle from the port to the hotel. Throughout the whole stay they were very helpful and attentive - they suggested activities for us to do and were happy to organise them as well as arranging transport for us for dinner and to the port for our return journey home.
The hotel was very nice and the room was clean and more than big enough for 2 people. The outside pool was also very nice and had a great view over Lipari. The breakfast at the hotel was also good.
The restaurant that they recommended (Chimera) was the best place we ate all holiday and the hotel even gave us a discount to eat there. The food was tasty, the service was excellent, the outside seating area was stunning and there was even somebody playing the piano whilst we ate (who was also fantastic).

Good, comfortable hotel just outside the centre of Lipari.
From the harbour you can walk there in 10 minutes.
The hotel will pick you up at the harbour for 10 € if you wish.
Clean double rooms with AC, bathroom and breakfast.
I stayed in two different rooms: room no. 6 and room no. 2.
Both rooms and bathrooms are quite similar. Although room no. 6 is a tiny bit bigger, I preferred room no. 2 on the ground floor. I found it a little quieter there and you also have a small terrace at the front.
Good buffet breakfast outside by the pool.
Less common in Sicily but this hotel also puts eggs and bacon on the breakfast menu.
A special mention for the extremely friendly and deserving Sara (Sareta) who works at the reception and also helps prepare breakfast in the morning.
She answers all your questions and arranges just about everything.
To visit other islands from Lipari, you can shop around in the harbour where you arrive from Milazzo or Messina.
However many excursions leave from the nearby, picturesque Marina Corte.
Many restaurants between both harbours.
Lipari itself is also a beautiful island.
Hotel Mea is 500 metres from the port in the centre of Lipari. It offers an Aeolian restaurant, and a sea-view swimming pool with hydromassage jets.

We loved the breakfast, the close proximity to the town and ferry service. Beautiful, clean grounds with helpful, accomodating staff. Very helpful as we had bikes we needed to store during our stay. Nothing we asked was an issue. Highly recommend

Lipari was one of the prettiest places I’ve visited in my life, with quaint streets, historical buildings, and beautiful rugged countryside. I walked to a pretty peninsula, took a ferry to Vulcano to trek up the volcano, swam in the sea by hot springs, and had two delicious meals in tiny restaurants. I was there in mid-January so it was very quiet.

The Aeolian Islands are a wonderful group of islands.
Lipari has the most accommodation options, many restaurants and from here you can take excursions to other islands.
Lipari itself is also beautiful.
I recommend taking more than a day trip from Sicily to this group of islands.
Allow several days for it !

Lipari is a lovely island and the perfect base to access all the other islands. Ferries to and from are regular and affordable. The bus service is not ideal on Lipari as you have to wait over an hour for the next bus to come along. We decided buses were not for us and having a scooter gave us much more freedom to explore it's beaches, lookouts and inland areas at our own pace. We hope to return again.

While visiting the old church on the hill we witness a wedding about to start. The bride & her parents came up the hill in a cabin motorbike.Later bride & groom walked down the street where we were eating dinner. Everyone stood up and clapped wishing the newlyweds a great future together. A real Italian tradition!!

We visited in May and the weather was vey pleasant, not too hot and good for visiting attractions and hiking. I really liked this island. It was relaxing but there were also attractions to visit both on Lipari and the surrounding islands. Lots of restaurants in Lipari town centre and easy to walk around. Lipari is easy to get to for the main land and we travelled via fast ferry from Milazzo.

Claudio and his family are very nice and go out of their way to make sure guests are pleased. Claudio knows the island and dropped us off at the start point for our walks ... we always felt very secure. The island too is full of friendly sociable people!

A seaside accomodation venue in Lipari. So much potential. We were upgraded which was very nice. The rooms are freshly painted, but poor energy from facilities staff and noticeable dysfunction between areas is off putting. You can tell that while the hotel has had its hey day, the vibe is off now. Investment in customer service training and some core upgrades to the property would make this place a go to venue. The cost of the stay is totally
overpriced for the experience of Hotel Carcaso.
The owner Carmelo was incredibly nice and accommodating. Someone was waiting for us when the boat arrived and brought us to the hotel which was an easy 3 minute walk from the boat. Carmelo was always available to answer our questions and helped us to organize our visit in Lipari with various suggestions. He was available via WhatsApp all the time and made our stay a great experience! The shared terrace with a view was fantastic as well.
The personnel is super welcoming. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very quiet during the night, extreamly clean and comfortable. The small terrace is perfect to chill during warm hours of the day. We even forgot a pair of shoes after our stay and the personnel was so kind to contact us and send them back. I definitely reccomendez this hotel and would like to stay here for my next trip to Lipari.
Beautiful hotel decorated with a wonderful collection of antique items that lend it a feeling of character. Nice bar and garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place was comfortable for a stay on Lipari. It's a little outside of the main historical quarter, but only a couple streets away. Breakfast was very good, with an assortment of gluten-free items as well.
Lovely hotel in Lipari away from the town.
A little old fashioned but ok. Comfortable sea view toom. The twin beds in our room were like camping beds, but reasonably comfortable. Plenty of choice at buffet breakfast which can be had on the outdoor terrace. Very helpful staff. Got picked from harbour after the boat crossing and dropped back again on departure.
