Superlative. The staff were exceptional, embodying everything that hospitality is supposed to be - friendly, attentive (without being overbearing), informative, and kind. The common areas were spotless, arranged perfectly, and showed an attention to detail in the design and maintenance that is rare to see. The room was exceptionally comfortable, again, extremely clean, and with premium bath fixtures, towels, and toiletries.

Walking around main and side streets of Fabriano always...
Walking around main and side streets of Fabriano always brings me something new. It's a gem of a town! The theatre often has live performances of all kinds and is a must to see even if there aren't any events. A paper-making demonstration and sometimes a hands-on class is another wonderful way to spend an afternoon (or a weekend). Food-wise, there are lots of choices and if you're around on the weekend, make sure you book. Fabrianese like to eat out in their own town so things are often booked in advance. We really like 'Osteria San Biagio' - innovative twists on local dishes and a lovely atmosphere.

We loved exploring Fabriano and the local area.
We loved exploring Fabriano and the local area. It is off the normal tourist trail, despite being on a main train line with plenty to see and do once you are there. The Fabriano paper making museum is fascinating - we requested an English language tour by email and we ended up with a personalised tour, which was so appreciated - fabulous staff there. The art gallery was also well set out and very informative - we were amazed at the early artwork there. The amazing stalagmites and stalactites of the underground Frassassi caves are a short drive or train ride away and are absolutely stunning and worth the effort to get to. Nearby to the caves is walk up the hill to the Valadier temple set into a mountain cave - awesome views and well worth the uphill effort!

It was one of the best places we have stayed in Italy over last few years. First of all, Fabriano is a very quiet, charming and very interesting city indeed, far from large city rumours and traffic. In this B&B we have found calm, relax and comfort in a very city center.
The owner is a very nice and helpful person, who takes a heartfelt care of her guests. She does also prepare very good italian breakfasts.
Quiet, cozy, relaxing place to stay I can only strongly recommend.

Best shower pressure we have had in Italy so far. Clean and tidy. Great locations and recently renovated.
Go for a short walk to Amore & Sapori for dinner. Absolutely amazing food and 6 minute walk.
