From start to finish, this was a wonderful stay. Luigi (the owner) welcomed us right we arrived. He brought us up to the check-in and kindly reminded us of the nearby parking options, available spa services, and how if we needed any help or had any questions, he and Donna (the front desk manager) are always available.
The restaurant food was excellent, and the chef accommodated our vegetarian diet for dinner. Wine selections were ample.
We stayed in one of the larger rooms, which is very modern and comfortable although we barely spent any time in it since there is so much to enjoy in Castelmezzano and we were there during a two-day festival. The natural beauty; the culture; the historic sites (this village has an amazing story, dating back more than 1,000 years); and the gentle, soulful spirituality that invites you to connect keeps us coming back. Hopefully our next visit will be a little longer.

The room is beautiful, modern and very nicely designed. The bathroom was exeptional. Lovely to be in an old stone building while feeling modern and tidy within. Location was good - close to everything in central castelmezzano.

Great room in Castelmezzano with an even greater host, Teresa. There was a box of breakfast goodies (tarts, muffins, and cakes) waiting for us when we arrived the first evening, and the following day there was a bag of fruit and sandwiches. The bed was very comfortable, the shower fabulous, and having a washing machine was a real treat.

The owner left a beautiful and delicious tart outside of our door in the morning - handmade by his mother! There was juice boxes and yogurt in the fridge. Much appreciated!
Everything was very clean and newly updated.

Loved this little town and this apartment!! The place was very clean and beautiful. The location is a ways up a lot of stairs but totally worth it!!
If we ever find ourselves back in Castelmezzano, we will definitely return to this stay!
Adorable town with incredible views. Loved strolling at night when it seemed the entire village and all ages were out in the piazza enjoying each other. We didn't do the Flight of the Angels as my husband has had back surgery, but it looked fabulous. So glad we spent a night in this gorgeous village!

Castelmezzano is just wonderful, it's location, setting and scenery are superb truly justified by its World Heritage Site status. Lovely small alleyways to meander along, houses perched atop a hillside incredible experience to have visited this beautiful place. Best time to avoid is at weekends when the place gets very busy and parking is a problem as the village imposes a traffic free zone.
For those really adventurous daredevils, they even have a 'Zipwire' experience with limited opening times?
Il Nostro Ristorante is the perfect place to end your day for dinner or if you prefer lunch, their kitchen is first class approaching 'Cordon Bleu' standard. Salvatore will make your visit there very worthwhile and you will not be disappointed. 😊

Comfortable room equipped with all the necessary amenities. The host brought in a very effective fan for us as we were concerned about the heat. He provided us with recommendations of hikes and activities in the area. The location was perfect, tucked in the heart of Castelmezzano with all restaurants and spots within walking distance.
This place is just amazing, the people the hotel were just a wonderful experience. Our car window was damaged and they let us stay in their private parking. We also had a wonderful dinner with incredible views. I only wish we had stayed another night
Quiet location in the country 2 km from Castelmezzano. The hosts provided wonderful home made cakes each morning and some home made jam which was a very nice touch.
