Anzio is a small nice quite town, most shops where closed and in the center area, parking was impossible and the parking ticket police where out and hunting,Almost every other car had a ticket on the windshield,the restaurants are great we had some great meals at reasonable prices. The hotel we stayed at was not close to and "Bars" or any kind of relaxing hangout have a drink places. A calm, not fussy and clean city, which can be reached from Rome by train in one hour and paying 3.60 €. The air is filled with the aroma of flowers and plants. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Modern room with a good bed and a desk I could work from. There is not good sound insulation between the rooms, which became clear when I had neighbors with two small children who screamed a lot both at night and during the day.
