I recently stayed at La Rocce Hotel in Agerola, Italy, and it was an incredible experience! Here are some highlights:
1. **Stunning Views**: The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you're on the balcony or by the pool, the panoramic vistas of the Amalfi Coast are unforgettable.
2. **Excellent Service**: ALL the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. Special shoutout to the hotel manager Baltazar and Simona from the reception, for their exceptional hospitality!
3. **Comfortable Rooms**: My room was sparkling clean and comfortable, and the bed, pillows, towels, and sheets were of exceptional quality. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities The shower even had ambiental lights. You can choose the color you prefer, and the wifi was working well.
4. **Delicious Food**: Breakfast was a treat, and the dishes were fresh and varied. I especially loved the fresh pastries they were baking every morning and the dairy products that were locally produced and very fresh.
5. **Great Value**: Considering the quality of service, the beautiful location, and the overall experience, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money. It's a gem on the Amalfi Coast.
6. **Memorable Experiences**: I had some truly memorable moments during my stay. The romantic and welcoming atmosphere added to the charm. We also took the hiking trail Path of Gods, and the hotel is perfectly located to start this hike in Agerola and finish in Positano or other locations depending on the preference.
7. **Transportation**. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Amalfi and other locations, and they also have the possibility to book combo tickets for a ferry with a bus connection, which is very handy and makes day trips very accessible. They have a spacious parking space also, which is very difficult to find in this area.

Stunning views and quiet beauty super close to hiking trails and town center, yet away from traffic and confusion. The staff is well organized to help plan experiences and activities in the mountains and along the entire Amalfi Coast. While the coast has become crowded, touristy and over all tired, you can still enjoy the incredibile beauty and genuine Italian ambiance from an arm’s distance

We stayed at the apartment a few minutes away from the main property, and it was a great location. We could easily walk to many restaurants and little shops as well as the trail head of the Path of the Gods which was a big highlight for us. Laura and her parents were very accommodating and so friendly, and we truly appreciated their hospitality during our time there. The breakfast was delicious and Laura had wonderful recommendations and information. We would gladly stay again!

Staying at Jazz and Blues was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. Antonia is a wonderful and accommodating host.
The living area is a perfect space and filled with natural light. We made use of the pull out couch, and it was easy enough to put away during the day. We also loved the music that we could play throughout the apartment. Great touch!!
The location is a little hidden, but in a good way. It offers a sense of seclusion and tranquility, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
One of the must-do activities while staying here is the Path of the Gods hike to Positano. This breathtaking trail offers stunning views of the Amalfi Coast and is a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of the area. Our host Antonia provided some great tips for the hike, making it an unforgettable adventure, but I would be weary of taking along small children… the hike took us 5.5 hours. While it was amazing, we could definitely feel the burn for a couple of days after.
Must do restaurant- i due gemelli. The best restaurant of our 9 day driving trip down Italy.

Small town that is in the process of refurbishing.
Small town that is in the process of refurbishing. According to a local resident, the increase in tourism to town has allowed more monies to increase and improve local businesses and village services.
Although the Italians often don’t start eating dinner until 8p this small village had few options on the main street/square after 7p. Those that are available have variable open hours that are known only when you arrive to find it open/closed.
You need to take a bus to Amalfi to catch another bus to other Amalfi Coast towns. If driving , learn to use the buses. Parking in the “tourist towns” is very difficult not to mention the roads. Walking is also a challenge. Everything is uphill/downhill and you share the road with parked cars and drivers of cars, buses, trucks on narrow one lane roads that are just a series of turns. There are no restaurants that I would praise in Agerola but the food was always good.

It is a quiet village next to the touristic spots which is Amalfi coast. It is located in the mountains, so if you drive be ready for the endless curves, narrow roads and lots of traffic in summer. We didn’t see the village much but views looked nice!

Not for the faint hearted if you are driving, the usual scooters overtake anywhere, a lot of shuttle busses on routes, locals just seem to pull out of anywhere, lots of horn tooting, it is Italy, get the smallest hire car you can fit in or take the bus, taxi

A beautiful little town, we enjoyed the little restaurants on the plaza, and the people were friendly! The bus drivers could be a little friendlier and more helpful with tourist not knowing the stops where to get off, we missed our stop and he left as stranded in a little town 10km further and we were literately chased of the bus, with no buses running back. But the villagers was wonderful and the owner of a tobacco shop let his son drop us off back in our little village!!

we liked EVERYTHING! This was a PERFECT location for a holiday on Amalfi coast. FAMILY run but in a VERY PROFESSIONAL way hotel- couldnt have a better one. It had that Friendly feel to it and whenever you needed any help/ advise, Massino and his wife were there to assist. VERY CLEAN, Modern, Tidy- all works well. Breakfast was just faboulous with some home made ingrediends - it REALLY made the difference. HIGHLY recommend this hotel and if Massimo ever dicides to expand, im sure it will be just as good as Villa Paradise.
My husband and I stayed this great place for a night. Even though it was a short stay, we have enjoyed our time at Hotel Le Rocce in every second. It was such a quiet and peaceful place. Staff is very friendly, we had a little chat with Diego and Baldo as well. They welcomed us very well. I wish we stayed there longer than a night. We definitely recommend this place and you should stay there more than a night otherwise you will be regretful just like us! Thanks for everything!
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful tranquil location . The hotel is beautifully decorated and is spotlessly clean and fresh . The staff are all wonderful and so welcoming and cannot do enough to make sure your stay is just perfect . They provide their own shuttle bus to take and collect you from the nearest town Bomerano where you can then make your way to other attractions , restaurants etc . Will definitely be returning for a little piece of Italian heaven !
We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere felt like a home away from home, providing a warm and family-like environment. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and we were impressed with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
Everything.
The Family hotel is wonderful and they were very kindly and responsive.
Near by them is it The Path of God and I really will be back one day.
Definitely I recommended them.
Thank you a lot, dear Family.
