This hotel exceeded our expectations! 10 minutes to Diamond beach. Excellent food. Hand made cocktails. Helpful and kind staff. Soft beds. Great showers. Best breakfast we had during our trip. Dinner was great, too! So thankful we found this new hotel!

Location was just great! Just off the ring road and so near to the Jokulsarlon lagoon and the surrounding activities which we booked (eg Glacier Adventure). So it is really a great base although it was pricey due to its location. But no regrets as it saved us travelling time and more resting time!
We had 2 rooms that were next to each other. The whole hostel is very clean (we see the staff hard at work and the place smelling great) and the kitchen has excellent amenities for simple cooking. Enjoyed the coffee on the house and the excellent Icelandic happy marriage cake.
Overall a very comfortable stay for 2 nights for 5 of us!

Staying in Hofn was a great choice for exploring the southeastern part of Iceland. The cottage was modern, clean, and offered beautiful views of the mountains and foss. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, perfect for a day of adventures. Hofn itself has great seafood restaurants and is close to Vatnajökull National Park. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic staff. Very friendly and helpful. Food at their restaurant was good. The location was very convenient for us based on our schedule. We had a snow mobiling tour for the next day, and the pick-up point was right next door.

Owner was very nice, room was plenty big enough for 4 adults. We hike to the waterfalls on the farm.

We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so much

I would not stay at this property again based on mold in...
I would not stay at this property again based on mold in bedroom, sticky loud doors and outdated. The property pictured (outside view) was not the property we stayed at - disappointing. The short hike to waterfall behind the property was the only redeeming quality of the stay. Not worth the price.
