Loved the location, breakfast and the bed was heavenly. We both slept great every night. The staff was also extremely helpful and were luckily able to let us check in early after a long flight (for an added fee) which was sorely needed.

The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the staff. Every member went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, greeting us and assisting with any requests promptly and efficiently. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made me feel right at home. The rooms are clean but on the smaller side.

Staff was great! Special thanks to Kate and Monica who were both very helpful!
Downtown Reykjavik is full of life, joy and culture, so it can be noisy at night. We recommend enjoying the live music at the bar downstairs, which will stop at 11 in the night.

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
