The property was out in the middle of a dark area and was beautiful during sunrise. Unfortunately, the Northern Lights did not come out that we noticed but if they did it would have been the perfect spot to see them. It was an overall good stay and hosts were friendly and provided a small cook top area.

This was our 3rd time staying at Aurora Lodge, it's the perfect place to relax in a cozy environment. The previous 2 times we've used the hot tubs but this time it was -10 plus wind so we didn't but they are lovely to do and if you can see the Aurora that's a bonus, we did on the second stay! Breakfast is fantastic (try the pancakes) and the staff are always super welcoming and friendly! We will be back next year, thanks team!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The onsite restaurant served excellent food. I appreciated that the breakfast was generous and was included in the cost of the stay. The drinks and cocktails were well crafted. Above all, the stay was made memorable by the staff (Gabriella, Aleksandra, and the lovely Icelandic lady with the gray Lopapeysa sweater), all of whom were attentive and welcoming. It was especially nice to make the acquaintance of Fredirik (the owner), an interesting and pleasant man whom one might find seating guests. Fredirik takes pride in his hotel and makes one feel at home.
