I would recommend Udaipur for a relaxed vacation. many lakes are there. some must visit places are Ambrai ghat, bagore ki haveli, city palace, rope way experience, bahubali hills. dont forget to eat dal-bati-churma thali at Krishna restaurent. any autowala can take you there. Use Auto to travel around the city. Dont take your car unless you enjoy getting stuck in traffic.

The city has its charm but may not be ideal for everyone. It is great for art and history lovers. I enjoyed the City Palace, the paintings and sculptures displayed are beautiful. The Saheliyon ki Bari park is not worth the time, I am not sure why it is considered a tourist attraction other than its history. Udaipur is one of the beautiful and cultural city of Rajasthan. One can find the good view of lakes, cultural music, boat riding, good food, and more. However traffic is really worst at the old city. Narrow roads causes huge traffic jam problem. I would advice traveler to book a bike or scooty to ride in the city.

A great place and quite unique. Lake Pichola breathtaking at sunset - worth taking the motor launch out to Jagmandir Lake Palace. We also very much enjoyed visiting the city palace (worth doing by tuk tuk as car access difficult, also it is an exciting journey.) Some wonderful shops outside who donate all proceeds to charity, we bought some very nicely made pieces. Not a great deal for children, boat rides/shopping and the ubiquitous time at the hotel pool are probably the most appealing things for them.Drake - Scored 8.08.0

It's a beautiful city with lots to see. It can be done in 3 days but shall be exceeded to 5 days so that you can enjoy the beauty of the city at leisure. The heat is excessive so stay hydrated and eat carefullyNANDITAIndia
