Due to Navratri, there was traffic traffic jam every evening. But if planned properly, one can avoid traffic. In the day time, it was good. Transport facility is good.
So many attractions for tourists of all ages. Excellent destination for foreign tourists as Mysuru is launching pad for hill stations like Ooty.
Mysuru Palace is my favourite attraction. So many times I have visited the place.
Zoo, Chamundi Hills are other attractions.
Famous dam on Cauvery river, Krishnaraja Sagar dam, designed by Sir M. Visvesvarayya and Vrindavan Garden set at the base of dam is must for every tourist.
Second destination is famous historical fort, Shrirang Pattanam, also known as Seringpatnam,an island fort in the river Cauvery, where third Anglo Mysore war's crucial battle was fought resulting in the death of Tipu Sultan, Sher e Mysore, who failed down fighting East India Company troups. This battle virtually gave entire South India to British. We can also see the temple and idol of Lord Shrirang, on whose name island and town is named as Srirangpatam.
Darya Daulat, summer retreat of Tipu Sultan.
Food in Mysuru is mostly South Indian and reasonably priced.

Will return to this city again, for sure.
Will return to this city again, for sure. Jaganmohan Palace, a must visit. Though it is not well kept but visit for the amazing art collection they have especially 17 paintings by Raja Ravi Varma. The Gaganendranath Tagore, Nandalal Bose, Abanindranath Tagore, MAR Chugtai, the Ukil brothers, quite a representation of the Bengal School.

1. Go to Mysore Palace...worth a visit.
1. Go to Mysore Palace...worth a visit. Well laid parking space. Pls hire a guide, who would give good detail of the palace. It's tourist friendly. Mind you, one has to walk without shoe inside the palace, after keeping the shoe in designated place. 2. Next is Chamundeswari Mandir. Again, well laid parking space and well planned entry & exit. 3. Vrindavan garden is a waste of time as it's not maintained at all, with broken staff everywhere. It has become a local chat Centre. Not worth it at all

The location of this property is exceptional. It is absolutely peaceful and safe. It is just beside the road adjacent to Jaganmohan Palace right side boundary wall. One can view the palace from room. There are restaurant (Aashirvad & Maitri) just 100 mtrs away (walkable) from the property.
The property is at a prime location where you can visit the nearby center market or Mysore palace by walk itself and all are within 3kms. Auto charges around Rs. 30 to palace and Rs. 40 to Cauvery Emporioum (govt store) for authentic products.
We really loved Mysore but the problem with Mysore is that there are not any luxurious hotels there, which is why we booked the Radisson Blu. We wouldn't normally stay in a Radisson Blu on holiday, but it looked like it was the best hotel in Mysore and actually it was fine, although of course it had quite a "chain" feel to it. The location was good and the hotel was clean & comfortable. Abdul (the concierge guy) was super helpful and very efficient - thank you!
One of the best hotel ever stayed in mysore very good professional staff express check in at front office, very neat and clean rooms good perfumed. Everything is very quick I recommend this hotel for upcoming travelers just loved it.
Even after we shown the booking also, they denied to allot the room. the hotel staff sold the room to others with higher prices. We struggled a lot at Mysore after he denied.
Great Property for Couples, we were safe and secure & the peace and tranquility is really appreciated. The Staff were pretty cooperative in making the stay memorable
