I loved the coastline where you can walk along the beach for long-long time. You can swim too if you wish. Sunsets are buitiful.
There are many restaurants along the coast, although they are very expensive (Overall, Israel is a very expensive country).

Good beaches and restaurants and walking areas. not very crowded. the hotel rates are more moderatle here.
It ia bout 20 miniutes drive to reach the main city center and the main beach areas. also if need to be pciked up for city tours. this means extra taxi fare also.

Bat Yam is a changing community, quickly trying to gentrify and it mixes a lot of different cultures in a small community. The highlight is the beach, which includes a rock shelter that reduces the waves in one area to make it family friendly. It is convenient to get to Tel Aviv/Jaffa without the high prices. In my eyes, it is not a destination, but a great jump off for exploring south, without the heavy traffic of Tel Aviv. The small bakeries and shops are better than the large chain stores. It is easy to stroll the main road and find everything you need. In ten years, Bat Yam will be a very chic location, just watch!!

The place is not ideal for a traveler who wants to sightsee.
The place is not ideal for a traveler who wants to sightsee. It is far from the Center and and in a very run down part of the outskirts of Tel Aviv. The taxi ride is about 30 minutes to the center, there is no restaurants, cafes or beach within walking distance from were we stayed. This a place were you want o stay if you have a vehicle to move around and just need a cheap place to crash for the night.
Has literally everything you need: towels, tea, coffee, sugar etc, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, air con in 2 rooms and ceiling fan in the kitchen, 2 loungers, chairs with table and umbrella, great pressure shower, fully equipped kitchen. Beach very near. Great hosts.
the flat is made out of : very large terrace, another small one, kitchen , bathroom, room with large bed and table ,tv and air con, two smaller rooms with single bed in each (only one of them has air-con and tv)
Wine and fruit as a welcome gift were very appreciated!
Only distance to the beach is great, the apartment is located in a building that seems belonging to a hotel, thus, you are on the first line from the beach
