Lovely hotel in the middle of town, we stayed here for a wedding in another hotel. Breakfast was really nice and staff were friendly.
This beautiful and historic castle is set within 1,000 acres of woodland. On the banks of the River Moy, it features a restaurant made from the remains of a 17th-century Spanish galleon.
Located in Ballina's main street, Hallahan's is just yards from the River Moy, known for its salmon fishing. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good so we didn't explore as much as we would have liked to - as the area had a lot to offer. However, we will be returning. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are wonderful.

Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town.
Ballina is a friendly and very interesting town. There are many places of interest with interest boards and murals explaining about people and places. The Jackie Clarke Collection is well worth a visit, and it is free. You can read about many people and events in the town and surrounding area then go visit them. It is clear the War of Independence and the Civil War had huge effects upon the town and surrounding area.

Ballina is a lovely town in a very scenic area. Beleek Woods are just out side the town and are ideal for walking or cycling. Lots of beaches within reach by car as well. Some nice pubs and restaurants in the town too.

Plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants in this picturesque town on the river Moy. We can see why Jack Charlton loved the place. We enjoyed watching the anglers waste deep in the river fishing for salmon. We had dinner in the hotel on both evenings and the food was great.

A lovely town, with lots to see and do in the area, nice places to eat, close to many other nice places to visit, so a good base for the area. Get out and enjoy the music and arts, and its ambition to be the most climate friendly town.

Breathnach Cottage was a clean apartment with good facilities. There was a big garden attached.to the property as well.
Ballina town centre was only a short walk away. It was an ideal location to access the wider North Mayo and Sligo area. I would definitely use it again if it was available.
Beautiful hotel. The views are just incredible and so peaceful! Rooms clean and comfortable and all staff from the moment we entered were just lovely. Thanks so much for a lovely stay :-)
