the hotel is not worth the money! the worst hotel and room for 800k in which I lived in Bali. Difficult access, no normal parking space and no access for cars and bikes. the room is damp, dirty, the towels are dirty and gray. The bathroom smells bad, there is no air conditioning. The sockets are broken - it looks like they've burned out. the staff doesn't speak English and can't help. We couldn't sleep all night, the music was playing loudly. In the morning there was a disgusting breakfast, not worth the money either. Unpleasant impressions, I don’t recommend it.

Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are incredible. We were going to hike up Mt Batur but then we would have missed other sites (due to climbing at night). However I am sure it would have been great! Most travel companies leave from Ubud not Kintamani. Recommend restful stay after the climb here. Not too many English literate people here but very kind and accommodating. Too many dogs!

This is a stunning area of Bali with the Geopark and many attractions around. Totally different pace to Ubud and other parts of the south. Thoroughly enjoyed the change of scene and pace here, and as always the people are so nice.

Loved this area, so different to the many other areas we visited, perhaps because it is cold at night and hot in the day.
Lush and wilderness feeling with stunning vistas of heights and mountains, lake and village.
Surprisingly upmarket spas and cafes and accomodations.
Multiple hot springs each more elaborate than the next.
Loved the regular village life and agriculture going on everywhere.
I was hesitant to put Kintamani in our 3 week itinerary but it was unique in Bali, spectacularly beautiful and that great mix of tourism convenience but with regular Balinese life going on all around you.

Beautiful place!
Beautiful place! But it is bali.... so expect rubbish, lots of traffic and run down places. But no matter the look, the food was fantastic and so cheap at every place we went.
This isn't a party place, but if you do plenty of activities during the day, hiking, bike riding, white water rafting ect youll be in bed early!
The hot springs in town-
Toya desa- run down charm but loved it! Has terrible reviews online but they seem to have fixed all those problems eg/plastic over the food and allowed refund of cash if you paid by cash (not entry ticket) to load up a token you use (handy cosyour constantly in the water)
Massage wasn't great but facilities good.
The other hot spring- great massage! But really bad facilities and pools.
Mt butar is fabulous. Sunrise hike was incredible... but its extremely cold at the top, so bring warm gear. Beginners hike but it is a mountain so no thongs/flip flops.
Great place to visit for 3-5 days.

The best view that you can find in Asia.
The best view that you can find in Asia. The people are nice, there are 3 ways to reach there are a lot of options. The police also actively manage the street to get rid of traffic. A lot of nice restaurants with the best view.

Amazing property, felt magical, peaceful and very relaxing. Had an amazing Balinese massage at the spa, enjoyed the afternoon tea in tea room, amazing view from restaurant. The whole place was incredibly quiet - I think also because we went at a less busy time. Staff all so lovely and helpful. We got an upgrade to a bigger suite which was so amazing, very grateful for the generosity of the accomodation. They provided free additional water to the room and allowed food to be brought down to the room when I was unwell.
Suksema!
The view from my room was amazing💙
The stuff super friendly. Food delicious. Lady who was cooking was very nice. One time I came really late, I thought kitchen is still open. I saw her getting ready to finish, but she said that she will make something for me😍
She asked if I like coconut and she made really delicious meal (typical for Bali).
Transport to wherever I wanted to go was organize quickly.
I was thinking to stay one more night but they were fully booked. Is says a lot about the place 💙✨
I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning villa in Bali, nestled near the mountains. The spacious rooms provided breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, boasting fresh and fragrant bedding that added to the comfort. The highlight was undoubtedly the private pool, offering a refreshingly invigorating experience. As dining options were limited within walking distance, the hotel helped arrange car bookings with locals. The use of WhatsApp for communication was incredibly convenient.
I can only recommend this beautiful villa to everyone. The view is inkredible, the rooms are very nice and everything is very clean. The food is simply fantastic. Authentic Balinese dishes, don't miss it! The owner is very nice and helpful.
After travelling almost one month through Bali, I think this was the most comfortable accommodation we had. The staff took good care of every single thing we needed to have a wonderful stay. Simply amazing.
