We recently stayed at Hotel Vision Budapest and were thoroughly impressed.
The location was unbeatable, providing easy access to the city’s key attractions. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the addition of a coffee machine in it was a thoughtful touch that added to our comfort.
One of the standout features was the hotel’s beverage corner, which not only offered everything needed for a coffee, tea, or a quick drink but also included a small seating area to enjoy it. This made it a cozy spot to relax before heading out or unwind after a day of sightseeing. It was a thoughtful, complementary feature that significantly enhanced our experience.

Location is a bit far from main tourist attractions. Breakfast is average good, however the whole place is crowded with long-waiting tourists, which is a little bit annoying(especially those picture-must scene)

One of, if not the best hostel I've been to. Big, bright and clean rooms and common spaces, everything feels new. Great location and a really welcoming and assisting staff who gladly switched my room because of a problematic roommate. I can only recommend it and will definitely be coming back when I'm in Budapest again.

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it has the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try them than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur and, based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels available in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes it an easy choice.

I recently had a short two-day trip to Budapest, and it was an incredible experience. The city is rich in history and stunning architecture, offering a perfect balance of culture and relaxation. The accommodation was easily accessible, with smooth room reservation and check-in. It was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.
Over the two days, I visited iconic landmarks such as the Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, and the beautiful Parliament building. I also enjoyed a peaceful stroll along the Danube River, which added to the charm of the city. The local cuisine, especially the traditional goulash, was a highlight of my trip.
Public transport was reliable, and there were plenty of services available near my accommodation, making my stay very convenient. Despite the short duration, I managed to experience the best of Budapest. It’s a city that I’d definitely love to visit again in the future.

Budapest is a beautiful city full of wonderful architecture and lovely castles. Since we went in December, the Christmas Markets were our top priority however we did a lot of sightseeing. We ate at various restaurants,
a memorable one was The Magic a Harry Potter themed restaurant. The food was good too! Transport was easy, we paid 5000F a day for a 24hr group ticket (good for 5 people travelling together). It was easy following the underground and buses as long as you have your final destination in mind! We loved the park with the balloon, the Ferris wheel and the ice skating rink.

Budapest was amazing so many friendly locals and so much to see and do! We stayed for 3 nights and 4 full days and managed to do everything we wanted to but we would of loved to of explored a few more of the popular restaurants and brunch spots but the queues were crazy! Also we would have loved to fit in another spa and I will 100% be back and recommend Budapest to anyone as it’s so cheap to eat out and such a lovely beautiful city. Also the public transport is so easy to use and the city is massive! I would recommend at least 3 full days if you want to do all the sightseeing spots and if you are visiting around Christmas time like we did you need the 4th day to be able to see all the markets and visit all the hotspots as it was very busy even at night! Top tip pre book all food spots so you aren’t disappointed I recommend Blueberyy Brunch and Cirkusz for brunch and hard rock for dinner!

We went to Budapest for the Christmas market which is supposed to be the best in Europe. I was quite disappointed at the market, but the town is beautiful. The buildings are very well maintained and the streets are really clean. Public transport is connecting all points and you can use the mobile app Budapest Go to buy tickets which are also fairly reasonable (about 6 EURO for a daily pass or 13.5 EURO for a 72 hours pass). If you want to visit the Parliament, book in advance. We went there and thought we'd buy the tickets at the entrance, but it was fully booked for the day. Also, if you want to book a trip on the aquatic bus do it in advance as you won't find any available seats on the same day.

Budapest is beautiful and easy to get around on public transport. The Arena Hotel is very convenient with a nearby Metro station. But it’s also a lovely city to walk around, especially in the evening when the lamps are lit. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants, my favourite dining room is in the Danubius Astoria, lovely food and surroundings. Had a lovely meal there and there was a pianist playing seasonal tunes, magical.

We've visited for a weekend during the Christmas markets, the weekend was well enough for the visit and while the city was busy with tourists, once you're away from the touristy spots, everything is calm. I've loved walking the streets of the old town, looking up at the old houses, wondering what was their story and what history took place in each of them. We didnt have a need to use the public transport much, but in the instance of getting to and from our accomodation, we've used the metro and trams, which were comparable to any other public transport in any capital in Europe.

The location of this hotel is perfect for a trip to Budapest. Took the bus from the airport to the city centre and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. So close to absolutely everything we walked everywhere the whole weekend. Very modern and contemporary design. Super clean and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and the breakfast was lovely with nothing to complain about. We would deffo book here again if we come back to Budapest and will recommend to family and friends.
By far, this has been one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and very well-equipped. The staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent with lots of different dishes to choose from. The location was a walking distance from the city centre and very close to the Metro station.
The location was brilliant. You were in walking distance from the bars and restaurants, to the city centre or to the river. it was great to come back to the hotel and jump into the hot tub and a swim . the spa massages and treatments are amazingly cheap half the price compared to anywhere else.
