It was a beautiful little hotel in a perfect area. Loved the view of the church from our room and the ancient stone incorporated into the renovation.

This hotel was booked because of its location near the airport. There's also near the Trogir
UNESCO site which is a bonus. There is also a really nice restaurant 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive seaside. The beds one double and two singles would be fine for married couple with small children. Turns out the single beds were not normal size but rather kitty size as where the blankets so was not comfortable for me as an adult. That said we really like this hotel and grandkids enjoyed the pool.

Welcome to Kaštela. Feel the amazing spirit of Dalmatia in our XIV-Century-Rooms located in a charming historical limestone building kept in the traditional Dalmatian seafront style.

Very relaxed area. Lots of places to swim. Away from the busy town of Split. Split is great! but it's nice to have a quieter spot to escape to - where you can walk, swim and find great restaurants!

We had 4 teenage boys with us and they love history. So Split and nearby Kastela as well as Trogir are great. We were able to visit one historical site per day. The children were super happy so we the parents were left in peace enjoying the sea.

It was exactly what we wanted.
It was exactly what we wanted.
We didn't hire a car as we wanted to rest without the pressure of driving everywhere so we took Ubers when we travelled.
The restaurants and bars were fabulous and well priced. The bakery and ice cream shop were great products and good prices.
We went mid September and the weather was perfect, not too hot and definitely not busy.
We visited Trogir twice and did the Blue Lagoon boat trip which was amazing! Highly recommended.
Trogir has a great food market and a lovely vibe in the town.

It is a local area, but the beach is not the most clean if you are looking for clean water to swimming. Parking can feel a bit intense if you want to spend the day there but I get the impression Parking is always difficult in Croatia, especially close to city or even in a beach swimming area.

Beautiful place very close to Split airport.
Beautiful place very close to Split airport. Easy to walk for a few miles along the coastal route in relative safety.
Taxis to and from the airport are rediculously expensive for a 4 mile journey. However, there is a regular bus service from all Kastela regions to the airport for 3 euros, if you are able to carry your luggage.
