We stayed 7 nights in early October. The hotel staff are amazing (5 Star, A ) and made my wife and feel at home from when we first arrived until departure. The breakfast is amazing, prepared fresh to order and delivered by wonderful wait staff. The hotel interiors, outside grounds, and sun beds are cleaned every morning. Location is prefect to enjoy sunrise, sunset, and the beach in front of hotel (bring floaty). The additional benefit is Code 11 restaurant located next door with which has a great dinning area at the restaurant and also serves at the beach (food and beverages). Can't wait to return. Thanks Team for a wonderful stay!

The most incredible property we’ve ever stayed at. The location, the breakfast, the views, the staff. The team kindly upgraded our accommodations because we were on our honeymoon and truly made it an experience we will NEVER forget - once in a lifetime! Katia at the front desk is amazing. We spent 5 nights at Palace Elisabeth and we will be talking about it for the rest of our lives! Hope we can make it back someday.

Where to start? Staff is exceptional — focus and dedication to comfort and satisfaction of clients are exemplary. Josipa, Mario, Marko, Martin and others from whom I did not obtain names were so helpful in providing recommendations to beaches, hikes, restaurants and sights to see — and why they recommended such — that my wife and I felt like a local guide was accompanying us in person on our island of Hvar adventure. The hotel’s location is a close taxi ride away from Hvar town yet removed enough that out-the-front door beaches are uncrowded.
Our room, 302, had a small balcony with table and chairs that was so pleasant in the morning or afternoon. The outdoor pool area was also quite nice; lots of padded lounges with large umbrellas next to a large pool in a quiet zone behind the front of the hotel. Dining options at the hotel restaurant were plentiful as were the seating arrangements — fully inside, inside with open windows or outside with umbrellas.
Hotel was very clean and the bathroom had a truly great shower — much appreciated after an ocean swim! Complimentary transport from and to the ferry was included for our stay.

Hvar is the largest city on the Croatian island of the same name within the Adriatic Sea. The wildly undulating coastline formed a natural harbour here, a fact which didn’t go unnoticed by the Venetians, who captured it as part of their empire. The Venetian Fortress sits atop a hill and 13th-century ramparts descend to the old town.
Another castle from Napoleonic times is on a different hill offering beautiful views over red roofs towards the offshore Pakleni islands sheltering the port. Ferries link Hvar to neighbouring Brač and Vis islands, Split and Ancona in Italy.
Given the size of the city, the amount of Hvar accommodation is staggering, and Booking.com offers everything from luxury hotels with pools to cheap guest houses and beachfront apartments. Although most beaches are rocky, their scenic setting and warm turquoise waters are still a draw.
At the heart of the city is the largest square in Dalmatia. Restaurants and bars spill out onto its cobbles, ending at St Stephen’s Cathedral with its see-through belltower. Around the same time the cathedral was going up, one of Europe’s oldest theatres was constructed in the waterfront Arsenal. The Loggia is the only remain of the Governor’s Palace, and the Hvar Heritage Museum helps to put all this in context.
Attractive old harbour town. We gather that it is a fashionable destination for yachting and boating but there is not a lot to do otherwise. In mid-October it had an end of season feeling though restaurants were still open. Most attractions in Stari Grad had closed.

Hvar has a very nice walkable old town with interesting buildings including the fingerprint museum and the oldest public theater. We found great restaurants and took a wine-tasting tour that took us past lavender fields, vineyards, Stari Grad, and into Jelsa, and included olive-oil tasting as well. The tour also took us to the Napoleon fortress high atop the island. We had walked to the more accessible Spanish fortress from the town. We were lucky enough to catch some evening music in the town square during the town's birthday celebration (first week of October).

Fantastic location, apartment and the lady who meet us and showed us around the property and advised on some things to see and do in Hvar. Lovely bowl of assorted fruit and were given homemade roasted caramelised almonds.
The apartment was so comfortable, great facilities, modern interior in an old style home. We very much loved it!

Very nice and clean facility. Very accommodating and helpful staff at the entrance. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and it was well decorated and maintained. Very modern and their patio was amazing, with shower outside. Felt very comfortable and luxurious. The staff at the pool was accommodating and friendly. We would certainly return.

didnt spend too much time in Hvar town. We were mostly secluded at our small hotel but we loved the island and it was pretty easy to get to and plenty of ferries to time your arrival and departure easily.

Hvar is expensive so do not go expecting it to match the cost of living in Greece, Spain or Turkey. Eating-out is pretty much 'Fine Dining' everywhere and is apparently priced for the super yacht clientele. Supermarket prices are also more than London! It's a shame as many locals & Europeans are being priced out and this trend looks set to continue. But it's a very picturesque harbour & fortress town. We thoroughly enjoyed it and are now back to work to pay it off! 😂

Located on the water a few minutes walk from Hvar old town, Hotel Moeesy is a small slice of paradise. Incredible views over the water, super-comfortable beds and beautifully appointed rooms, a wonderful breakfast and the most friendly and helpful staff are what made the hotel an exceptional getaway for us. A special mention to Dominic, our friendly and most helpful waiter (who incidentally is studying for his Masters in Engineering) made the stay an absolute pleasure.
My wife and I were honeymooning in Europe for 2 weeks, out of our 3 destinations (Santorini, Sorrento and Croatia) this was the best hotel we stayed in (and we stayed in several 5 star hotels).
Hvar itself is a dream destination, but the hotel single handedly made the experience go from great to fantastic.
Perfect location with amazing sea view. Room very spacious, comfortable and clean.
We stayed in family room which was perfect for us. Our daughter's loved the pool. Breakfast was really nice, eating overlooking the beach. Local arranged taxis into Hvar town. A beautiful hotel.
Lovely hotel and excellent location, only a short walk into Hvar. Pool area was great and views were amazing. We were also upgraded for free to a suite, as the hotel was fairly quiet.
Modern hotel, gorgeous pool area with pool bar, walking distance to the main area of restaurants and bars. No lift which might make it difficult for some. Would recommend!
