The location was excellent right onto the beach. Not too far from the bus stop to walk to and to bars and restaurants. A balcony looked on to the swimming pool and beyond that the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with a sandwich toaster and toaster and kettle. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Kavos is aimed at broke party goers. It's dated and quite nasty. Some restaurants are quite good The Greek Taverna, but the area is quite sleezy. Avoid Trabukos was horrid! We left and moved to Sirocco Hotel which was much better. Beach area was ordinary but good for boat tour to Paxos.

We liked that it has a lot of tourist facilities, you can find something to eat out and drink so that it fits your budget, whatever that is. Kavos may be noisy and filled with youngsters who love to party, but as a family with older kids, there is also what to do

The place is pretty small, you can tour the entire town in 20 minutes on foot. Most of the establishments are made to resemble english pubs. They feel cheap and plastic.
If you're looking to experience Greek culture Kavos isn't it. It's just a mini Birmingham with a warm climate.

We stayed at Sweet Dreams 10 mins walk down the beach from Cavo D`Oro. Gregory the host was very helpful and sorted out any questions that we had.We ate at Aristos where Georgio made us very welcome and the food is terrific and reasonably priced.
Boating trips and boat hire we got from Blue Bliss ( 3 mins walk from Sweet dreams ).Cavos Beach House is another great place to stay and Maria the host is fantastic. Aqualand and Blue lagoon trips were organised by Jason at Ariston travel who goes out of his way to make sure you get the right deal.Best to go end of August/September when less eedjits around but Cavos Beach House and Sweet Dreams are far enough away from the strip you don`t hear any loud music.
Kavos is a magical place and if you have time visit Paxos and Antipaxos two small islands to the south (Blue Bliss)

Kavos is a wonderful place with good people to spend your summer vacation. You need to rent your own transport to explore the beaches, like a motorbike or an ATV. It is impossible in the heat to walk for kilometers and be happy about it. And there is a lot to see and enjoy the wonderful beaches with restaurants, music, drinks.

Kavos is a young person venue, our hotel Ekati Mare was lovely and on the outskirts but Kavos was not particularly nice itself. Contessa restaurant was lovely but mostly just lots of cheap drinking places, kebab restaurants and clubs. We were happy to have a look but preferred other smaller villages nearby eg Lefkimmi by the river. For youngsters, sure it’s great.

Very friendly atmosphere, Katarina and her family are really welcoming and helpful, it was a pleasure. The room was really tidy, there is cleaning every day. There is a small kitchenette with fridge. There is praking opportunity right in front of the hotel. It is in the middle of the town, with a lots of restaurants and bars and just a short walk from the beach. If we are going back to Corfu, we will defenately choose Secreta Vista again.
This place is great! A personal thanks for Tassos and Costa who made our stay fantastic. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. My son and I just came back for a trip to Corfu and stayed in those apartments and we both had a great time. The apartment was clean. it had a great pool and is in front of the beach. It is quiet at night and comfortable. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning and lunch.
Delicious breakfast...very comfy and clean rooms. Its a pitty that south Corfu has lack water due to the suppliers, we were lucky to have taken this matter cared from our hotel. Really helpful hotel staff.
Very good breakfast, kind staff, clean pool, good food snacks big portions and cheap, very close to center and main bus stop to corfu.
Additional towel for yhe pool.
