the location is excellent..just a few steps away from the beach and from the main street with numerous shops and restaurants. The room was very spacious (they gave me a free upgrade) and the staff especially Imelda were great..very helpful and they go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. i will definitely recommend this place to anyone both for a short or long stay,

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and also warm, which was good because the weather outside was absolutely foul! (Remember storm Darragh?) Breakfast was very nice, though the pricing on the menu had me wondering how much breakfast was actually going cost, until the waiter enlightened me that I was on an inclusive deal so it was just one set price no matter what I had.

Like the quietness of the Vale, away from the town centre, tucked away at the end of the island. I love the location of the peninsula hotel facing the ocean, the sun rise is amazing in the early hours of the morning all golden really beautiful. Going to the town centre you need a bus , it runs hourly week day and 2hourly week end. Taxis are hard to come bye and expensive, book with the hotel 24rs pre. The food in the hotel is nice but a bit pricey you don't really have much choice no nearby restaurants.

For us it was the perfect location, far enough away from the town but close enough just to pop into town, we took our dog(thank you Fiona) plenty of local walks, the locals were so friendly and the local area was nice and clean, I would recommend Vale to families or the older generation.

Great hotel location for coastal walking and bathing.
Great hotel location for coastal walking and bathing. Near L'Ancresse Bay and Pembroke Bay with the best beaches on the island. Puffin & Oyster is an excellent place to eat when you cannot dine in the Peninsula Hotel. Buses are regular and accessible and near the hotel.

Downstairs lounge is great with circular bar and comfy seating. Toilet facilities are clean and smell lovely. Service is good. Reasonable choice on menu and catch of the day....delicious. Proper bed, not camp bed in room for grandson. Bathroom soap etc was beautiful and great quality.
Pool area great for kids.
The staff make this hotel. They work tirelessly.
I like the vibe of this hotel. The atmosphere and bar and restaurant area are kitted out with calming decor. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The selection of items for breakfast is good and caters for most people I reckon.
We had met the manager before at another hotel in the Group and he took time out to engage with us and indeed provided a round of drinks to celebrate the arrival of our new born grandson that very day on Guernsey.
