For us it was near to family so we were able to share with them and treat them in the hotel for meals and we visited local shops etc. We enjoyed walking along the prom. and visited Seaton Sluce, Blythe & Whitley Bay. Bus services are good if you do not have own transport, Metro also good.

    My first time in Tynemouth.

My first time in Tynemouth. It's a really pleasant, attractive little place, easy to walk and cycle around, fantastic beaches and sea views, and a thriving high street with posh places to eat and drink.

Great seafront location with access to great beaches and amenities. Hotel bar area is excellent and includes external sea view areas. Room large and well equipped. Breakfast good but staff could replenish items a bit quicker. Dog friendly 👍

Tynemouth has beautiful beaches and views, with plenty of pubs with real ale and cafes. Great place to visit as day trip from Newcastle on the Metro, or as stopping off point on coastal walk/cycle.

I have visited Tynemouth on previous occasions though this was the first time i had stayed there. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate on this occasion but from experience Tynemouth is an excellent place for a relaxing break. There are coastal walks and History in the town which is very well kept. Also there are several places of interest to visit nearby and the centre of Newcastle is a 20 minute ride on the Metro.

We stayed here as a family of four and Park Apartment was ideally located for what we needed and we could easily get to Tynemouth itself. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very cosy and welcoming upon arrival. The beds were comfortable and the area was very peaceful at night. Raymond kept in touch with us leading up to and throughout our stay. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and will definitely be returning.

Th apartment the brilliant with all you could need for a lovely stay in Tynemouth. The veiws from the apartment were beautiful and it's location was perfect to use as a base to explore the area. Parking was easy with to kindly provided permit, which meant we hardly needed to use the car as everything is close by. Many thanks to Raymond and his team.

I don’t think the food was great. The hotel itself is very fine; its position by the sea lovely. But neither the evening meal nor breakfast was great. The staff were patchy, some extremely friendly and some fairly cool.
