This was our second stay. Our room was very clean, comfortable and warm. The temperature was controllable which is great if you want a cooler room over night. The breakfast is well cooked and excellent value.

Nice reception, rooms are decent sized, nice dining area and bar. Evening meal was delicious as was breakfast. Comfortable bed and pretty clean room.
Found in an original Victorian building and renovated to 21st century standards, Hotel Colessio is an opulent addition to the centre of Stirling.

Very nice hotel and a warm reception from the staff. Ideally located for Stirling Castle and the Old Jail. Great Italian restaurant across the road. Would recommend.
Set on the slopes of Ochil Hill, the 19th-century Broomhall Castle Hotel features charming rooms, some with four-poster beds. The historical city of Stirling is just 5 miles away.

Stirling is a lovely city which can be reached easily by train from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
It's in a lovely location with a river, castle, shopping, quaint streets, bars, restaurants, and other sites to see.

Stirling is a beautiful old Scottish town, plenty of history and things of that nature to do if that's your bag. The pubs and cafés are very good, the general prices are reasonable and on par with other towns of similar stature. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, I never once felt unsafe or threatened in anyway. I'd say its a good base too if you want to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh, a whole lot cheaper too. The views from the castle and Wallace Monument are stunning and well worth a visit. Also the Old Jail and the Ghost Walk are great fun and the guide is absolutely hilarious. I would highly recommend Stirling.

I liked Stirling because it was convenient for visiting Bridge of Allan without having to travel through the centre of Stirling. You can also visit the Wallace Monument and Cambuskenneth Abbey on the outskirts of Stirling.

The Church of the Holy Rude was a fascinating stop on our way up the hill to the castle. Warm welcome by the docent and lots to see on the self tour using the excellent brochure. This castle was our favorite! So much more interesting and less crowded than Edinburgh Castle. The beautifully costumed docents in each of the palace rooms were delightful and eager for everyone to have a good visit. The tour that was included in the admission fee was interesting and informative. Make sure you see the Unicorn Tapestries and visit the workshop where they were woven.

Very good for solo travelling. Single room, very comfortable and nice bathroom. I’ve been staying in worse hotels in London but three times more expensive so for me it was a very nice room. Communal kitchen on every floor, with kettle, microwave and oven available but I had my own cutlery. Lots of parking spaces also included in the price and the university situated in a good area, not so far from the city centre. Very quiet so far more better then some hotels
The room was comfortable and spacious , if somewhat far away from entrance! The bathroom was large and well appointed. The hotel is well placed in the historic area of Stirling and the parking is an extra bonus. The hill from the town centre is quite steep but as you notice the various historic buildings and the views , you do not notice the incline.
The location is perfect, the Stirling Castle is about 15 minutes walk, the Holy Rude Cjlhurch ia abaout 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The staff was nice, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the food is delicious.
I have stayed at the Stirling Court hotel several times. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. The staff are so friendly. I also love all the wildlife around the hotel.
