Hotels near Stalybridge

Loads of bars and restaurants. We tried 2 (Gladstones and Cafe Continental) and the food was great at both. Stalybridge is full of old fashioned pubs, where there is a nice feeling of community spirit and camaraderie. Some nice walks too, on the river bank and Stanford Park.

The service was very poor I booked the room for my friend that came to visit me from a very long distance firstly it's was a struggle getting the location and I was calling for directions but whoever on the phone couldn't speak say a word in English. When we later got to the place at about 1pm we were told we couldn't enter until 3pm ok we came back at 3pm no one was there to let us in I called so meny times no response until about 2 hours later before we got a call back. When we got bk there the man told me I can't to I'm with my friend to see where he will be staying for the next two nights he wouldn't let me go in just to see the room and that wasn't a good start. The next day I went to see my friend at the property this man wont let me in he said the room was booked for just one person I was trying to explain to him that I am not sleeping in there or what so ever I only came to see my friend which I even paid for the room he refused all he told me was my friend should come outside to speak with me. Long story short it's was a very bad experience 😔 I would never recommend Jack Court to anyone because of who we were treated very bad 👎
