The hotel was fine. However we had to walk across the road for our breakfast. We’ve had a breakfast before at the Bold Hotel but not since it changed to a ‘buffet’ style breakfast. We had to queue for over 10 minutes for bacon and 5 minutes for toast with at least 5 other people queuing as well. In the end we gave up! Not good service! So disappointing!

The Bold is excellently located and has a superb bar downstairs. The room in which we stayed was incredibly spacious, with modern decor and thoroughly clean. Room 14 was quiet and away from any noise. The staff, especially Amy, were incredibly professional and polite. Thank you.

A great place for shopping, food and brilliant live entertainment. Just a short train journey to Liverpool and only £6 return. Good free parking too.
Southport has some beautiful buildings. Good choice of places to eat. We had good food at wetherspoon and can recommend the Italian restaurant Volare. You don't need your car once you are in Southport.

Great place for a couple of days.
Great place for a couple of days. We take our granddaughter every year and she loves it. Plenty to keep her amused for the day and we go to Pleasureland for a day which is surprisingly cheap for a day out with children. Lovely friendly atmosphere everywhere. Would be great if the pier was open but lovely walks round the lake and garden.

Enjoyed the area. Lots of see. Lovely architecture.
Enjoyed the area. Lots of see. Lovely architecture. Like lots of towns now could do with some money spent on renovations but where the original features had been restored, they were very impressive. Wide tree lined streets, lit at night. Plenty of parks and open spaces. Pleasure Beach for kids. Cheap municipal golf course. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Enjoyed our first visit to the area.
The hotel was great, the view we had of the sea towards blackpool and the marina was amazing the staff where wonderful at helping me make my partners birthday special by using the add ons and special requests. The hotel was quick to respond.
I have been coming and staying in southport for the last 6 years and always avoid a breakfast as the ones I have tried so far have been not been nice or a huge effort to get, however they gave me a choice of time slot, and breakfast was really nice.
The hotel is super clean and in the perfect location to visit most things in Southport.
The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful - even providing a fan in the room due to the very high temperatures.
