Really lovely B&B. Great attention to detail. There was a great choice for breakfast and it was delicious! Perfect location for Sherringham station which was ideal for us. We were made to feel very welcome. Would recommend
Mount Lavinia is a 10-minute walk from Sheringham Railway Station and the seafront. This guest house offers a shared lounge.

Good location away from the beach, but close enough to the town centre. Breakfast offered good choice (only cold items available as advised.) No parking available on arrival, but easy to park across the road as a residential area. Located next to a pub with good food.
Just 10 minutes’ walk from the award-winning beaches of Norfolk’s heritage coastline, YHA Sheringham features free private parking, a games room and a buffet restaurant.
I spent my childhood years in Sheringham. So I had many memories. I remembered the High Street, the Clock Tower
and The Little Theatre. Food wise: Marmalade’s was very good. We had a delicious Duck Confit at The Two Lifeboats. Bank was a good Nepalese Restaurant with lovely staff. We liked the easy access of getting around Sheringham. There is a good bus service that takes you to Weybourne, Salthouse, Cley, Holt and charming Blakeney. Excellent coastal path walks along cliffs to
Cromer, Weybourne and other places. A Roman settlement and a Mammoth find at West Ruston was interesting.

There are lots of good places to eat. I'd recommend 'No 10' on Augusta Street, but its only open Wednesday to Sunday and you need to book. The Thai restaurant is also good. The fish and chip places often disappoint.
The town is lovely and we usually check what is on at the local theatre and go to see a show. Leave the car where you're staying, if possible, and walk round the town and along the proms.

The museum is a must see to learn about the history of the town and it's relationship with the sea.
The steam trains are brilliant, walk up the 'bump' for views to Blakeney and Cromer.
Visit the beach at low tide to see the expanse of sand.
Visit the pubs and cafes for refreshment then buy something nice from the wide range of shops.
On dark foggy nights listen out for howl of 'the hound of the Baskervilles.'

We had booked a Sherlock Holmes whodunit on the North Norfolk Railway which was absolutely amazing and the short walk into town from our accommodation was so easy and there was plenty to offer in Sheringham so we will be visiting again.

Sheringham is a small town on the Norfolk coast line.
Sheringham is a small town on the Norfolk coast line. It has many small traditional shops and a number of Fish & Chip venues (Dave's down one of the side streets was my favourite). It is within a short drive of a number of National Trust properties and other coastal towns such as Cromer and Wells-next-the-Sea (recommended for walks along the beach and shell collecting).

We stayed as a group of friends, with a dog, and absolutely loved this house. It was beautiful and bright, with a positive vibe and lots of lovely art work. There was plenty of seating inside and out, a bbq and the kitchen well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils, and with 3 bathrooms, all clean and bright. Great location for town and coast path, and for exploring beautiful North Norfolk.
This is one of the best equipped propertes that we have had the opportunity to book. There really is everything in this apartment that you could wish for for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated close to the seafront of Sheringham, it is also handy for the town centre, restaurants and pubs. The icing on the cake is an allocated parking space at the side of the property.
Me and my partner loved the hotel it was absolutely stunning and got sheringham park right on your door step as well , all the staff were very friendly and polite and the room we stayed it was lovely and comfortable and we definitely will be coming back to stay here again soon
The breakfast was ok, but the evening meal we had and the Christmas lunch were disappointing. We would
like to stay at The Lobster again - but only for bed and breakfast - no other meals. We found some other good food restaurants in Sheringham.
Ideal location for exploring Norfolk, walking distance to shops, beach, railway station and bus stops. Confy bed, great shower, nice and clean. Pub next door with good food and reasonable prices.
