We have stayed in this hotel every time we go to Jersey. We always have the same room. Very difficult to find anything that we did not like. Good location, enormous breakfast, lovely room (we always ask for the same room). Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Full marks.

It's a nice place. It's not full of chavs like in England.
It's a nice place. It's not full of chavs like in England. No beggars, no litter, broken glass, or needles, no graffitti, not polluted, I didn't feel like I was going to be mugged all the time, most of the shops were occupied (unlike England).

We liked the history of the place and enjoyed learning the stories of the island during the war, the place is also very clean and everyone is so friendly. The island also has an amazing bus service which is so easy to use and also very cheap. I would recommend the jersey war tunnels if you are interested in anything about the 2nd world war.

A wonderful luxurious Hotel with very stylish decor. The bedroom was huge (room 46) with a fantastic comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - all the food was top quality. The staff were all lovely especially Stella from housekeeping who cleaned our room - she did an excellent job - all the staff smiled and said hello when we met them. A great place to stay in St. Helier and not too far from the town centre.
Historic hotel with old-fashioned charm. Very friendly and professional service at the reception. Good breakfast at La Terrasse Restaurant from 07:00. Excellent spa. The journey on foot to the city centre takes about 30 minutes, the hotel also offers a shuttle bus into the town centre from 08:30/10:00/12:00/14:00/16:30, on Saturdays from 10:00 ( there is no shuttle on Sundays and Bank Holidays).
The hotel is very well placed with plenty of restaurants close by as are the harbour, bus station and shops. The basement swimming pool, spa and gym are lovely facilities and we had a great room overlooking the Jersey museum. Inside the room it was quiet and the balcony was in the sun until late afternoon with a view to the harbour. Breakfasts were very good as was the service
