The room had everything, and I loved the modernity of it, charging ports and various buttons. The bed was super comfortable, which is the most important thing. The hotel had a gym, pool, pub, and café, which I didn’t use, but perhaps next time. The tele screen was huge! It was only 20 min walk to the rail station.

We loved the location close to the M3, the quirky layout the bar and restaurant, the beds were comfortable, food was very tasty and breakfast was lovely. Staff are friendly and very attentive. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the tea making facilities were excellent.

Nice warm friendly little pub, in a quiet area. Staff very helpful with any questions asked. The regulars inside were welcoming and chatty and also answered any questions positively and honesty. Although they don't serve food, they're are the usual online delivery companies that will deliver to pub.This suited me because of the nature of my work. If fancy something more simple you may use the microwave in the kitchen, cutlery and plates can be provided to make the meal more homely. My personal preference of tap lagers are on offer so was happy, are other beverages on offer to choose from. Location is in middle of Newbury and Basingstoke with A34 and M3 not too far away.
