We loved the staff, and the foid was amazing. The room was also amazing. Everything about the place was warm welcoming too. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday, not been before brilliant everything I'd asked for from the bottle of prosecco in the room and the swan staff left him a lovely card, wishing him a happy birthday lovely.

Checking in was easy, lovely welcoming pack of essentials , tea coffee, milk, even a small bottle of red and white wine! Towels rubbish bags, washing up liquid, scourer and dishcloth and loo roll, all at the caravan. Iron, and hair dryer all provided.
Lovely quiet caravan park, ample parking space, local shop a short walking distance away. Lovely local pubs with pub grub, as well as local hotels with restaurants.
Caravan was spacious, clean and everything worked!
I'm very happy to recommend this park if you want to get back to nature, and take your dog with you. I think most of their caravans are pet friendly.

The swan Hotel was perfect.
The swan Hotel was perfect. The staff very pleasant & helpful.
Room was interconnecting for myself & 3 daughters & was clean comfortable with beautiful decor.
We had a light lunch which was lovely & evening meal in the restaurant which was amazing.
We enjoyed the Spa it was very relaxing although the showers could have done with someone to sweep the floor as there was a lot of water outside the showers & it was quite slippery & one of my daughters had to sweep the water away. Apart from that the staff was very attentive & friendly.

Walks around hotel complex were fantastic.
Walks around hotel complex were fantastic. Room very basic, but adequate. Food nice, but a little too expensive for our liking. Drinks not cheap either. Breakfast options very poor. No hot food buffet available at all. You were only allowed to order one hot dish per person, from an underwhelming menu.
Hotel in the middle of nowhere, so ideally you would need a car. Bus service sufficient though.

The hotel was large and light, tastefully furnished.
The hotel was large and light, tastefully furnished.
It was right next to the lake ferry giving easy access to other parts of the lake. Vouchers were given for the car park very close by.
there was a great path, one mile long leading to Newby Bridge, where we sat outside by the river with a relaxing drink.

Great place to base for lake district and south lakes.
Great place to base for lake district and south lakes. Onsite spa relaxing but need to book as limited spaces per session.
However use of another pool and sauna is in hotel for guests.
Parking difficult at busy times but remember to register with hotel so do not get parking a fine.
ate breakfast in hotel made to order as well as cold buffet with lots of choice.
Very enjoyable visit.
Very modern, clean and comfortable. Very spacious and every thing required. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes, very comfortable beds!! Lovely luxury bath sheets and hand towels. Kitchen/living area spacious and all kitchen items required for self catering. Laundry facilities great too!
Location is very good for visiting all towns nearby.
Rusland Pool pub/hotel has a great menu and Large petrol station nearby has supermarket and Costa!
A lovely setting, very calm and peaceful. The hotel has made the most of the original buildings and has a good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a fabulous view over the river. Breakfasts were cooked to order and the dinner menu was good. Everything we had was delicious and well presented. Pool and spa facilities were clean and easily accessible. Would highly recommend - and will go back.
Nothing.....The staff were poor, the rates and bar charges were diabolical, the jacuzzi was absolutely toxic, stinking of extra strong chlorine, we had a family room, 2 adults and one child and we had one bath towel and one hand towel between us for 2 days, no breakfast included, so we paid for extra breakfasts at 12.50 each, big mistake, I will never stay at newby bridge hotel again...
Very warming welcome, staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
The hotel is well located with many amenities within walking distance. We stayed for 4 days and had dinner in the hotel every evening, the food was superb, the portion sizes were a little large for me but that just kept me away from the dessert menu.
The rooms were excellent very comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing and the serving staff were professional couteous and so happy. The bar area is small but cosy. There are restaurant facilities with nice menu. Spa and pool available. The conservatory area is very light and comfortable. Lovely views of the lake. Overall a lovely place to stay.
