Nicky and Ian don't run a lodging, they maintain a home away from home. The room was perfect and very clean. The location is perfect on top of hill with a great view, giving easy access to all the little vilas all around.

Thriving local settlement on the local bus route linking ferries across the Tamar Estuary to Plymouth. Coop, Premier Stores and Fish n Chip Shop on a narrow "One Way" shopping street. The Village Hall has a Pharmacy next door and free parking subject to a 48 hour limit. Good Ales from the Deven & Cornwall Inn. Live Music to entertain. We travelled out of the village to find interesting seaside and countryside eating places.

We are biased because our son and daughter-in-law live in the village. We have been here many times and like the area. A friendly village with a good range of shops. There is also good access to Mount Edgcombe, Kingsand, Cawsand, and lovely walks from Maker Heights along the coastal path and around the Rame Peninsula.
