Perfect location for us we did the gavin n Stacey tour . There was a wedding going on so it was very loud and people hanging around by where you walk in so could be intimidating for some . Music went off just after midnight still had loud people outside though but managed to get a good nights sleep . My daughter the room was clean and actually lovely and warm and the check in guy was helpful and friendly. The view was lovely from the room

We had a family event in the village so location was perfect for us. Short drive to Cowbridge, which is a lovely town. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Went to the Vale Resort for a family wedding and decided to stay over. Lovely setting and a perfect day. Catering was delicious. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Our son’s twin room also had a balcony, with beautiful green views.

Location, staff, and property are overall exceptional. Cowbridge is shockingly tidy, free of litter, with alpine-like fresh air, and the kindest people you will find anywhere. The local establishments are similarly tidy and demonstrably kept with pride.

Very friendly and engaging staff with a sense of humour made the visit. Big effort made about breakfast. Very helpful about parking permits as parking difficult in area. Management very organised.

The cottage is not in Llancarfen - it's in Llanbethery, a separate village deeper into the countryside. Local signage is poor and sat nav not much help at times. We were out each day, so had brought food for breakfast, no shop in Llanbethery. We ate in Cowbridge and Llancarfen (Fox & Hounds open Wed - Sun) The Heritage Coast/Ogmore not far away and worth a visit. We also went to Cardiff and enjoyed a full day there.
