The cleaning lady in the morning who serviced the rooms was absolutely lovely and very, very helpful. There was nothing else to like in the actual hotel itself. The main rooms show an amazing building and was clearly a fantastic place back in the day say 30-40 years ago. Most of the hotel is very old and dated and is in need of a through refurbishment. The location of the hotel is excellent.

The hotel staff was exceptional. We received a wonderful recommendation for dinner ( East 2 East), within walking distance from one staff member and another put Kelpies on our radar, which we visited today and thoroughly enjoyed. Our breakfast this morning was very enjoyable and the kind and attentive restaurant staff went above and beyond what was expected to make it memorable! Every interaction with Pullman employees was remarkable! Your HR department deserves special recognition, as do your staff.

So pleasantly surprised by Liverpool! We stayed one night whilst dropping our son off at university, and now can’t wait to go back and really get to know the place. We found it to be an elegant and airy city, full of history and interesting-looking museums in the dockside area. There’s clearly lots going on in terms of theatre and music, loads of lovely-looking eateries to try, and (following Freshers Week) our son informs us that there’s a buzzing club scene too (and chips and gravy are his new obsession 😄). Fab mix of the vibrant new and the impressive old. Can’t wait to get back for the next visit!

Liverpool was fabulous. Lovely shops and pubs.
Liverpool was fabulous. Lovely shops and pubs. Different prices is different pubs with drinks. Would go back again but would be more cautious booking hotel as the one we stayed wasn’t great for the price they charge.

Liverpool is wonderful but very littered and has a lot of homeless people begging - but not hassling. Three day visit is adequate to see what is worth seeing - food offerings are excellent with lots of ethnic variety. We went to Chester for one day - worth the 50 min metrorail journey to visit that city and zoo.

Liverpool is a lovely city, full of a mix of cultures from classic to modern. The architecture is fantastic, and the Docks area has been redeveloped in recent years so it provides information about the city's past as well as being a vibrant area for the present, with museums and a range of restaurants.
The location was the main reason I booked this hotel; it is ideally placed for sightseeing, being near Albert Docks, the Pier Head etc. Walking to both cathedrals, the Walker Gallery etc. was easy but for those who find walking difficult the Metro station is underneath the hotel with trains that go to Liverpool Lime Street and also underneath the Mersey to the Wirral and Chester! Liverpool One shopping centre and restaurants are also nearby.
Our room was large and there was an ironing board and iron (not that I needed them).
Best hostel in Liverpool. Cheap. Clean. Comfortable. Staff are always lovely and now recognise me when I turn up. Hostel room I had didn’t have bunks. Extra bonus, no concussion 😂. Each bed has a plug and a lamp, other guests in room were friendly.
wish they had places on Saturday as the hotel I picked wasn’t half as nice as this one.
Close to city centre right near Bold street. Perfect for me as I stay here for gigs and shows.
Defo will be back.
Lovely hotel, perfect location to tour Liverpool on foot. We had an amazing view from our room of the Albert docks, river Mersey & the big wheel. No transport needed. 2 minutes walk to the Albert dock & 10 minutes to the Royal Livery bulldings. 5 minutes to the city centre, shops, restaurants etc
24 hr reception. Both night and day Staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel has parking space which was very handy and the location was walking distance to the docks and city centre. Room size was good, had kettle and coffee and tea available and bathroom was functional.
